I bought these in bulk for the lower price and because I use them often. I have used them in baking, in yogurt, in oatmeal, in salads. I've had them well over a month (diminishing supply of course) and they are good as new.

I love the Zante raisins. These are delish and fresh. The packaging causes a problem. The 5 lb bag of Zante raisins was stuffed into a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope. As a result the raisins were stuck together in large clumps and I spent about an hour and a half separating them. The bag of Zante raisins should really be put in a box to protect them during shipment. I have received them in a box in the past and they were in much better condition. I hope they will change back to shipping in a box as I have ordered these multiple times and really enjoy the product.Update June 2023 - Just received 5 lb of currants IN A BOX. There were NO clumps in the entire bag. They just poured out. Love it. I hope they continue to ship this way as the product was in much better condition.

These currants are really extra special because when I use them in my brioche the finished product really shines.......so spend the extra money and kick it up several knotches and go for the Zante currants on Amazon.com.....

These tiny currant raisins are very tasty. Fresh and moist. They are just the right size to put in pastries. Regular raisins tend to push up and fall out of cinnamon rolls but these tasty little gems just fit right in and stay there. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
