This product is crap. It does not work. There are You Tube videos on this product to the same conclusion. Simple connection from DVD with HDMI Out to TV with Component Video IN - nothing "No Signal". It is not worth purchasing this product. Try a conversion box instead.

Don't waste your money. First problem... Cable does not work. Second problem... The Component connectors came apart when attempting to unplug it. So inferior product that fails at it's one task and poorly made.

Should have read the other reviews stating that this product is basically a scam. It didn’t work at all and only after reading and watching youtube videos did I realize that these style quick fix cables don’t work at all. Amazon should pull the product. Don’t waste you time. Put it this way, this is maybe the second or third review I ever wrote.

This product does not work. The negative reviews this cable has accumulated since I purchased this would have changed my mind and I would not have purchased it because I had the same result - it does not work for my application (HDMI out from laptop to component input on television).

Does not work for consoles tried with a xbox one and a direct tv box with a older hd tv no signal could get sound but even that wasn't consistant. Too bad was looking foward to a outdoor tv wotg hdmi😕

Good cable at a good price. The shipper could not count to 5 for a composite cable as shown, so I returned it.

Doesn’t work for most connections.

This was my fault. I didn't realize it was just a plain wire. It's not possible to covert digital to analog in this manner. This is a total fraud. There has to be at minimum a small chipped conversion within the unit for it to ever work.
