Armstrong's Handbook of Human Resource Management Practice Twelfth Edition

I think this book is the guide that any HR Leader, manager and teacher should go through. All in all, it's the book that I am looking for long time !!!

Purchased a teaching text. Met my expectations with material presented for ease of use. Teaching tools provided could be used guides in the development of class notes and to generate class discussion.

Although I'm only in the first chapter at the moment, I can tell the author put some thought into the content and not just gathered material, organized it, and sent it to press. Michael Armstrong is a good writer and so far seems very unbiased in the information presented.

This is a most comprehensive handbook providing a fast track to understand and implement strategic HRM that I never have.

This book has rescued me many a time during my Level 5 CIPD diploma. It is well structured, excellently worded and the example policies and procedures are invaluable. it is a very comprehensive guide to HR management and practice without trying to be high-brow and stuffy. This book examines corporate strategy and individual learning styles with equal depth and clarity. Fantastic! I would recommend this book for students and HR practitioners alike.

Ein Buch mit umfangreichen theoretischen Informationen zu vielen verschiedenen Themes des HRM. Anders als der Titel vielleicht erwarten lässt, leider mit sehr wenigen praktischen Ansätzen. Dieses Buch erzählt Ihnen nicht, wie HRM in einem Unternehmen wirklich praktiziert wird.

I bought this book for my wife and it has all the basics for the HR career.I even had a go to read some chapters and they are easy to understand. Very well explained and with plenty of examples and real cases.
