Kind of disappointed but it'll have to do
I used to have the original light blue Cats Rule scooper and caddy that was available in chain pet supply stores. The original scooper lasted for five years, was great quality thick plastic with finished edges. I would've kept it except for the husband said it bent too much and it was five years old. So I bought two metal scoops (one from Cats Rule which broke and the other one had holes too big) and went back to this model scooper from Cats Rule. It has just the right size holes so you can pick up tiny clumps of contaminated litter. VERY HARD TO FIND! BUT....this new version screams cost-cutting. The plastic right away you can tell is a cheaper, more flimsy construction. The size of the scooper is disproportionately smaller than the caddy and much smaller than the original scooper. The handle is thinner and shorter than the original.I'm not impressed but have already spent $40 on scoopers. What's available on the market these days is just terrible.

Best Litter Scoop Ever
I originally ordered one of these scoops through my Fresh Step litter rewards program. I was looking for a scoop that had smaller holes than the traditional scoops. This scoop is sturdy and meets my needs. I ordered a second one so I could have one for each litter box enclosure in my house.

Cheap Product
This product arrived today and was broken, snapped into two parts where the neck of the scoop meets with the actual scoop. Too bad. It was not only broken but there is a crack down into the side of the actual scoop.I ordered this scoop, because I wanted one with small holes so that my kitty's soiled or wet litter would not drop back into her litter box. I am pleased with the size of the holes, but if this product could not hold up in a shipping yellow Hefty Express bag, with bubble wrap on the interior, then it would probably not have held up when in use, for very long, if at all.Cheap! Buyer beware!

Holes are too small
I really like the idea of this product: it hangs off your cat box and has a holder so you don't have a dirty scoop laying around. Unfortunately the scoop itself has holes that are so small litter takes a very very long time to sift through it. We had a cheap $2 scoop to start and once we used this a few days we went right back to it.

cats rule
this for me is the perfect scooper-i have been looking for this for years-my cats litter is clay-how can you pick up sand with a scooper that has large slots-you can't because the small pieces of litter fall through the large slots-if you have this problem you will be as happy as i am-this scooper is the best-holder is also great-very neat looking.
