Not good
Bought these based on the good reviews. Should have listened to the negative ones.These arrive flat and you soak them in warm water. The substance is like what's in a baby diaper/silica. They expand in the water, then you put them between layers of waxed paper (per instructions) to freeze. They took about 20 hrs or so to freeze completely. They started leaking in hour one of being on the top of the cooler with nothing on top of them.

Absorb moisture.
I like these because they wrap around containers. Don't like because they absorb moisture. Have them inside plastic ziplock.

Impressive Product - Excellent Design and Function
This is an excellent product! I am VERY impressed with the quality of the product and the ingenuity behind the design. From the literature provided in the order, the "polymer" inside each cell of the ice sheet is totally dry and light for transit, making it incredibly easy to store for later use. Then when I wanted to use some of the ice cells, I soaked the cells in water as described and a gel-like substance formed from the previously dry product. As for how well it froze, I was very impressed and it stayed frozen for a really long time. I also really like that the individual cells can be separated from one another, so that I could customize the use of different amounts of ice.I HIGHLY Recommend for summer picnics, barbecuing, and it might even work for sore mussels, but I haven't yet used it for that.

LOVING how multi-purpose these ice sheets are!
The media could not be loaded. My wife and I are absolutely loving these re-usable ice packs! We bough the 4x2 sheets to test them out and took them in coolers to the park to keep our drinks cold and they lasted all day!The fact that they are also flexible when in gel and frozen form, makes it so we can cover more surface area. My wife also had knee surgery a while back and has been using them to ice her knee. Lastly, we found out that you can cut them up into smaller sizes to fit whatever occasion you need. Single cell for a ziplock baggie, full size for a cooler, skinnier strips for icing joints, you name it. Okay sorry, rant over!

Does the job.
I had a small thermal bag that I used to fish fresh that I buy at a green market. But the thermal bag did not work well enough until I also used InstaFreeze. I would have given it 5 starts except there were no instructions provided on how to use the product (based on reading the Amazon reviews I placed them in warm water until the packets filled).

Tear Easily
Purchased for a ride trip for 2 coolers. They froze well but once they build up condensation they stick together and tear easily releasing the gel inside. Ended up having to throw away and purchase ice while traveling. Would not recommend.

They leak
I got these for an air cooler in my daughter’s room. After the first one leaked I put them all in freezer bags. But they still started leaking. Terrible product.
