These are good, but don't last very long.

Read alot of mixed reviews. Most people spoke about how the sponges didn't open up properly once you take them out the vacuum bag.The sponges edges seem to stick together slightly so you need to pinch them apart so that the sponge can get air inside and start decompressing and opening up. I used a hairdryer after pinching the edges open to help and worked well.Chucked them in my hot tub and they worked very well to absorb excess oils etc.

No instructions with this but thankfully a few people reviewed and mentioned about pinching the sponges to get them to fluff up. On the Amazon site is says leave for 20 mins once out of the bag (which wasn’t vacuum sealed - just in a plastic bag) but they’ll do nothing without help. Quite a time consuming job to get them to look like the advertised pic. I’ll now see If they actually work…

they dont do anything and dont attract dirt in my cold plunge

I have used these for a couple of years now and they do seem to stop that film that develops on the surface of the water.During the summer months I change these every week or when they turn brown in colour.

They do help keep the layer off the hot tub. (Lazy spa)

I wouldn’t be without these in my Hot Tub, they do exactly what they say, absorb all grease from the water, which, in turn stops any scum forming around the tub
