THE QUALITY FOR THIS $15 PRODUCT...!!! These are beautiful!!! I bought 10 as a party favor gift. The colors are very rich and the gold looks luxurious. Now out of the 10 I bought, 4 of them had slightly bent feathers and I believe thats because the way some of them are curved. In my video the ones I show are slightly curved towards the left. The bent ones had feathers that are slightly curved to the right which interacts and leans on the ink bottle. It still looks beautiful to me though, which is why I still give it 5 stars. I hope this helps!

As advertised a pretty sturdy pen with attachments, ink bottle and ink well/stand for the pen. My 11-year-old daughter loved it.

Works very well great gift for writers or just for fun

I'm keeping in mind that this is a $13.45 item. It is inexpensive, so I'm trying to be forgiving. I mostly removed a star because of the packaging. The box has two very tight elastic rings where the pen should have been secured, but instead the pen was loose in the box and got lodged along the top which bent the feather. The elastic rings were so tight, that there's no way the pen could have come out on its own. I feel like someone at the factory was just lazy and threw it in there. Luckily, feathers can be bent back into place fairly well, any split in the feather can easily be put back together by gently pinching it and running your fingers along it. It's a natural feather, so it's going to be imperfect anyway. The pictures in the listing make them look unnaturally perfect. All of that aside, I think this is a pretty decent quill and ink set for beginners, like the listing says. I was initially disappointed with how inexpensive the metal pieces look and feel. The seam from the mold really stands out on both the pen and the holder. I especially don't care for how the pen rests in the holder. I would have liked it to be more snug and secure. But! I'm still keeping in mind that this item costs only $13 and change. I think it's good for what it is. As for how it works, I'm quite happy. First I tried the nub that came on it, and I was surprised how much I could write with just one dip! The line was very consistent, even when I stopped for a few seconds and then continued. I'm quite impressed. I tried one of the thicker nubs as well, and experienced the same. If you're new to using a quill and ink, just go slow and be patient. Don't over dip your pen, and keep practicing. :) For the price, I think this is a really great little set! Again, I would have given it five stars, but the packaging was just miserable. I purchased this to write in an old journal with handmade paper, and it's going to do the trick, so I'm happy enough. I do recommend this item.

This is a lovely feather quill! I have always wanted one of these, and finally broke down and got one for my home office. Not only does it look pretty and add to the personality of my home office, but it writes well too. Would recommend this product for one self or as a gift for a friend who loves to write!

Easy to use, although i was not too good with it as that was my first quill pen. Once I got used to it, it was fun and flowed nicely along the paper I was using. The pen itself also looks lovely and glides along the paper nicely, and took a while to run out. Good for anyone wanting a nice pen that isn’t too large or too small, with a vintage aesthetic
