I recently flew into Canada and used these locks to secure my shotgun case. There was no issue with TSA or Canadian check points. They lock and unlock with ease and are really sturdy. The way they are made would make it hard to cut or break into. Far more secure than a padlock.

Purchased this in April 2023. The other trailer tongue lock I purchased was too thick in diameter. This fit the hole perfectly and when locked, it is snug. One could break it off if they had some tools, but it should slow down a thief if not deter them. And for $13+tax, it's a worthwhile investment.I hadn't checked on my trailer in several months. This lock is fully exposed to sun and rain. Amazingly, it unlocked rather easily. However, it was not willing to lock up. I have a ball lock, so I just left that on the trailer and took this one home to try to lubricate the mechanism. Some CLP (lubricant for cleaning firearms) and some wiggling, inserting and removing the key, and it's back to brand new! I recommend this little lock to help prevent theft of your trailer. Just check fitment. You might buy two different locks and see which fits best, then return one.

Appears to be well made but wouldn't work on my hitch because I needed one much bigger, it was sent back today.

I'm not understanding none of the less star reviews about the problems they are having. It's 100% obvious it's total user error because the moment i got this in, I put it on my trailer and it locks it in without issues and does the job like it's supposed to. I really don't know what else to say... you put the get in, spin it lose and it comes off or vice versa... plain and simple. Don't turn to lock it so tight you guys. It's a cheap lock for the trailer latch not a Federally approved door latch for a NASA spaceship.

Good lock. Real solid. Easier to use than other tongue locks I've used because the keys have that molded plastic head. Something I didn't see coming - the red center makes it easier to keep track of when putting it on or taking off.

Works great for the trailer we have. Easy to use! Fits perfect. Not worried about someone trying to cut it off. Great product

Bought for a month-long camping trip. After two days, the lock jammed and wouldn’t come unlocked so we had to have it cut off. I would return it but the return window closed a couple of days before we got home. I learned the hard way that it pays to buy better quality, name brand items. We didn’t have any tools with us and had to pay to have it cut off, at a campground, in the middle of nowhere.

I bought this for my boat trailer. It seems to be a secure lock but a bit smaller than I would have liked.
