Nope.
Seriously looks and feels like a paper towel. I laughed so hard when I opened it, I almost peed myself, which would've been fine, because I have the worlds largest paper towel to clean up my mess.

If the price seems too good to be true, that's because it is
What's that old attage? You get what you pay for? Well that's true in this case.So I looked it up, a quilt is a multi-layered textile, traditionally composed of three layers of fiber: a woven cloth top, a layer of batting or wadding, and a woven back, combined using the technique of quilting, the process of SEWING the three layers together. This "quilt" does seem to have 3 very, very thin layers but that seems to be the only thing that this item and a quilt (by definition) have in common. The layers on this were not sewed together (other than the seams) they were MELTED together. Yes, they were melted together..... in a very pretty pattern but they were MELTED nonetheless. The product description list the process as pinsonic weaving, but if you look that up you will see that that is just a fancy way for the company to say "we melted the 3 layers of polyester together".The bed cover is not very good quality and is a bit stiff even after washing but that can be expected since they melted the material together in about 500,000 spots. This bed cover will only be useful during the summer time (it's winter right now so it's going into the linen closet for now) since it's so thin; dispite it being polyester it's not very warm.I won't be returning it since it was so cheap and the pattern is pretty, it will probably end up being used in the guest room this summer. I will continue my search for a couple inexpensive real quilts for the other beds in my house.UPDATE:After a couple of washes the seams started coming apart as did the melted plastic dots the this bed cover is covered in.

dainty & elegant
If youre looking for a pretty, dainty, delicate-looking coverelt - this is the one for you! it's not warm or heavy at all, so dont expect to use this on a cold night, but its perfect for an extra top layer and for the decorative aspect of it and it's such a great price!! I used this coverlet over top of my heavier white comforter, bcuz it is lightweight and adds extra weight to my bedding - which I love. it goes perfect with my Christmas pillows and white shams. This bedspread has a beautiful quilted woven look to it that reminds me of the bedding my aunt uses in Italy. To me this was designed as a decorative layer to go over thicker bedspreads... or bc it has a thin layer of batting, it makes it perfect to use alone on warm nights. I think it looks elegant.... but don't expect it to be a thick heavy warm comforter bc thats not what this is for

This is super lightweight, which I am ok with
This is super lightweight, which I am ok with, but I was hoping it was a little heavier (I can't complain much though, since it was so affordable). I give it a four star rating because out of the package, it feels unnatural (not like cloth, almost plastic like). I can't really explain it but it didn't feel like any fabric I've ever come into contact with. With that being said, after I washed it, it is softer and feels much better. I thought it was quilted (with thread), but upon closer inspections, it looks more like it is heat embossed. There are no threads in the quilting only around the edges. As for the embossing, the areas that should be threads is shiny and reflective. It's is a little weird to me and I would have preferred it to have been machine stitched and not reflect. All in all for the price (less than $20) it will work for the guest room.

It’s 4 years later and I still love them.
I have ordered several of these. I use them everywhere. We have a lot of animals and everything is white. These are perfect to throw over seating or as tablecloths inside and out. I use them in the bedrooms. The launder perfectly. I have about 12 of them.

It’s nice but has a Chemical smell that’s hard to get off
So I was very skeptical about this order good thing I read the reviews about the chemical warning on the bag because my children love to unbox packages this one I throw it right away as soon as I could I will say that the blanket came with a very strong chemical smell almost like gasoline and I had to wash twice and it still smells! I’m letting it air out For some reason I swore that it came with pillow shams because for $20 you can find this at Tuesday morning or other places for $20 the full set (3p) but All well! Using this for a guest bedroom for size bed with my own pillow shams from another set I will not complain that it is a beautiful blanket it is thin but it is just for the top or Decor, all other covers are under for warmth

White was not pure, but dingy.
The first time I bought one of these quilts the white was white – just as white as my sheets. So I bought two more because I have a vacation rental and they seemed perfect for a summer weight blanket/bedspread. My two new ones have come in a dingy white. You know, when you wash stuff and the color is just a tinge gray. In any case I cannot use these for my vacation rental because they look worn out. I’ll return the one I did not open .As to the design and the construction. I’ve never washed my original one so it hasn’t had no chance to fray. I knew that the pattern was pressed in, not sewn in and I’m fine with that. I think it’s very pretty and achieve that goal I have a always having a freshly washed spread on the beds.I will not re-order this one, but will look for something even though it will be more expensive. But I have to have white white white – pure white for my purposes.

Nice lightweight blanket
This blanket is lightweight for the warm summer weather and looks nice. The downside is that it arrives with a really strong chemical smell, I immediately washed it twice and had to air dry it for several days before the smell disappeared. Also it's not really a quilt as a previous reviewer stated it's just holes that make the design. It looks nice on the bed and was the perfect wieght for hot weather once the smell was gone.
