This holder seemed too cheap. Now I can't imagine not having it. My phone has credit cards on the back in a pocket and my old holder didn't work with the increased thickness. The little rubber fingers on this holder have no problem accommodating the thicker phone. Best of all my phone doesn't suddenly fall out of the holder on to the floor while I'm on the expressway in heavy traffic.

Horrible design:the flaps that hold the phone are weak and phone wobbles;The bottom support for the phone is difficult to thread the cable through;And the final straw - one of the tightening screws broke the first time I tried to tighten it rendering the entire holder useless.Complete waste of money and time. Needless to say I will never buy products from this company again.Follow up: the company refunded the purchase which is a good thing although I did not request it. Shows the company’s responsibility to its customers. I appreciate that.But, they asked me to withdraw the negative review for the price of the refund, which I refused. Now, I’m suspicious of 99% 5-Star ratings for this product. As a matter of fact, I’m suspicious of Amazon having no control over such practices that, in the end, only enrich Amazon at the expense of its customers’ time and money. Do I hear class-action?

I bought one of these at the end of December, and it has worked wonderfully until today. I had even transferred it from the window to the dash with little effort, and the mount has held up great. And the overall mechanics of the holder-of-the-phone itself are pretty intuitive. However today (February 21), upon inserting my phone as usual, the mount literally fell apart beneath my fingers. Now, I know that I've been trying to stay in better shape lately, but I don't think that I have quite the Hulk-smash-vice-grip just yet. The left bracket pushed all the way in, subsequently pushing the right bracket out, both of them detached from the main spring. Two of the screw mounts had snapped on the inside, leading to the face plate to detach from the back plate. Finally, the release switch was "held together" by some sort of "quick fix" residue that was still tacky to the touch. The whole apparatus (for the most part) was decently and intricately assembled; why run up to the line and stop on such minor details that ultimately lead to such an explosive demise not unlike The Challenger circa 1986? Not to mention that I live in Arizona, and that sun had not even dropped a hint of it's Ark of the Covenant melt beams. Anyway, the thing worked good, then it didn't work good no more.

I recently bought this phone mount. After I installed it I was very pleased with it so I told a friend about it who also wanted one. I decided to order one for my wife as well. To my surprise the price had increased by about 20% in just a few days of time. We're not talking about a lot of money, but I felt I should have been offered the same price. While the product is excellent I can recommend it to anyone, only 4 stars for the price increase. Similar items are being offered for half the price on Amazon.

Broke in a few months as soon as got hot outside. The mount won't stay on the dash and the phone holder came apart and there is a sticky glue mess everywhere. Not worth it.

This thing is great!!! The "suction" is super strong. The range of motion is great, the arm turns and extends in so many directions. Easy to use and fits larger phones as well. My iPhone 6 plus fits in it even with the case on it. Highly recommend to anyone needing something like this.Update: I still recommend this item, worked well. However it did brake after 8 months of daily use. I am not exactly gentle with my things so keep that in mind. I plan to purchase another just like it because I was happy with it for these 8 months. Also I now have an iPhone 8 plus and it still fit the phone well.

Works alright. Doesn't hold a 7 Edge very well. Not very easy to adjust/move placement once you stick it to your dash.*Edited - The seller graciously reached out to me in order to resolve the issues I was having with their item. All in all, after giving this item more time/adjusting it to my liking and having the seller provide excellent customer service, this deserved a revised review.

No Lie! The second time I went to put my phone in this holder it fell to pieces. I was in complete shock. I took it home to see if I could maybe put it back together but it fell even more apart and one of the arms fell to the ground a broke. The cheapest thing I have ever seen. That being said here is what I will say about the ten minutes it did work. I don't like that it does not close on the phone automatically, makes it very difficult to put in the holder. It did seem to have a very strong suction cup which is what had me excited when I first got it as they always seem to be week. Would not recommend this one to anyone....
