They feel like little wires
I use it all the time. My only complaint is that there were/are some frays where the handle loop is attached. They feel like little wires. Just an annoyance, but I use the lead all the time. I'd buy it again--I'm guessing that those frayed protrusions are a one-off fluke.UPDATE: 7/25/2017When I gave the first review my puppy was about 15lbs. Now he's 6 months and 70lbs and he's getting pretty strong. Consequently, I started to worry about the lease possibly breaking at the frayed area if he darted off after a neighborhood cat. So I wrote the manufacturer. They didn't even hesitate to send me a replacement lead. With customer service like that, they deserve 10 stars.

Life-Changing Leash
I've never written a review on Amazon. This leash, however, has changed my relationship with my dog. It's gentle, silent, lightweight, and very effective. She is now a perfect leash walker! Granted, she was doing okay with prior apparatus, but they were clunky, old, loud, and required some physical wrangling on my part. Now she just gently walks alongside me, and when feels the gentle pull, falls back to heal. Yeah! Thanks. It's also very well made and attractive.

It's just okay
It's just ok. I thought after watching several of Cesar Milan's videos that the leash was thinner and easier to be placed under the dogs chin and up behind his ears. This leash is thick and doesn't really do exactly as I thought it would. It slips off the desired location down to around his throat. The location of the adjustment piece falls down also allowing him to bite and pull back on it as I'm walking him. It's a leach. A collar and traditional leash would have sufficed. Just being honest.

Great lead!
I love it. When we adopted our dog, they had her wearing a harness and dragging us everywhere like a sled dog. I bought this lead and began working with her using Caesar Millan’s training and she’s a great walker! Really, first day with this thing around her neck, she learned REAL fast.y only regret was not buying this years ago for our dog who passed away. I’ll be sticking with these leads. It’s very lightweight but feels as good quality. The purple is a deep purple.

No more struggles
I love it...but my dog hates it. Working with my new rescue dog has been somewhat of a pain...particularly since he's large (100 pounds) and was never taught basic manners or how to walk on a leash when younger (he was 6 years old when I adopted him). I used to almost dread walking him because I knew we were both going to get a work-out, and it wasn't the enjoyable type for me! After only a few walks, a handful of corrections, and some positive reinforcement, he rather quickly learned to stop pulling, tugging, lunging, and to pay attention to the feedback he was getting from both myself and the leash. Just remember to keep the leash situated high on the dogs neck. This is a great training tool.

Rover on Main/Slip Leach FIVE STARS!
Strong nylon and leather stitched together with a beefy metal ring and grommet, we purchased two black ones and received (four), not sure if they come in a set of two, we'll put the other two away, might be a while before we need to pull them out of storage. Our Miniature Schnauzer pup likes chewing on them especially the leather accent, taking a beating but hasn't come apart. We like how quickly you can get the leach on and off the dogs, no need to collar your dog if you don't want to, just slip the leach over there head and with a quick adjustment there good to go.I would recommend and purchase again.

This leash sucks.
Was comfortable to hold until it started to come apart. It seems to be assembled by melting it together, because the more my dog pulled on it, the more the handle or started to separate from the fake leather bit sound where the handle was joined. Also, the slide will NOT stay put at all.Do not use this without another leash or safety clip onto your dogs collar if your dog tries to escape.

Great Slip Lead
I plan on buying this again. I am a huge fan of slip leads-- they are functional and work well! If you have a fussy walker or a dog who slips their collar often then I highly suggest you buy this. However, be careful of wear on this lead. Like many slip leads they tend to wear more easily if you're active. This doesn't appear to stretch easily, (some of these leads stretch very easily) however I've only had it for a few months. Buy two just in case you need to replace it in 6 months. These are a great find!
