Seems tough, no issues
Heavy enough to be effective, works just fine. Handle seems very solid. No problem with head coming loose after striking the end on concrete a few times.

EXCELLENT TOOL!
Heavy Duty! My husband is hard on everything- breaks every shovel and rake we get... but hes NOT going to break this! He loves it, great for digging holes to plant, hitting rocks did not phase this thing. Highly reccomend. No problem with the head sliding, twisting- nothing. It took him less than a minute to attach the head, and it's NOT coming off. Shipped fast. Great product!

Great Pick Axe for the Price!
This is a really well made pick axe! People are complaining about the axe not being secured to the handle. All you need to do is attach the axe to the handle, hammer it down as far as it will go, and screw a medium- size screw into the fiberglass handle at the base of the axe to keep it from slipping back down when you swing it. My only pet peeve is that the axe blades were not sharpened. You will definitely need to sharpen the blades to cut though roots & rocks better!

Root killer
First tried using a hand saw to take out the roots of a bunch of medium sized trees in my yard. This was much more effective. Very durable

Nice pick axe
Light but strong add a 3-4” screw to support your pick stick or it can move when digging heavy wet dirt

Head Attachment Poor
Images on Amazon show pounding the head on the handle and installing a screw to hold head in place. No screw is provided, nor were there any instructions on attaching the head. If someone used this without using a screw they well might end up with sore, or broken fingers.
