You can easily reseason it. Infact it's best practice to thoughly clean and dry and reseason. Think of it as cast iron pan. And any previous oil as a manufacturing process not a good element.

Q: what is the package weight?

It's on the website with the details of the product. I can't remember the weight right off.

Q: Can i cook a steak on this in my oven?

This is a smooth steel slab. It has no sides. I would think cooking a steak, or any piece of meat, would cause juices to form and run off the steel slab and into the bottom of your oven. Do you really want to chance this and deal with the clean up factor? I wouldn't.
