I bought these, since I don't always want to use ice with a soda, since ice dilutes soda when it melts. They fit very well in the large glass mug that I use. They seem to work very well at keeping the soda cold and are even too cold to hold in my hand for very long when I am rinsing them off, even after finishing drinking the soda in about 10 minutes. Of course, they don't make a warm drink cold as quickly as ice does, but you don't end up with a diluted drink either.

They are bigger than I anticipated but they work really well. They hold the low temperature for a fairly long time and the only reasons to get this kind of item is if you don't want the water from ice to dilute your drink and for the aesthetic value; this hits both notes. I'm pleased.

I like the set of two, so I can use one while the other is freezing again. But it's real value is that my drink stays cool for hours. Nice, study case, too.

They work best if your drink is already cold.. but they’re kinda big ..
