Specifically, the video quality is good, 1080P is enough to record what happened on the road at day and night, and you can see license plate clearly at night when waiting for green light. It's a great camera with WDR for night view. It comes with an 8GB SD card, so I don't need to buy a new one, cost money and just wait. Though it's low capacity, I can still use it immediately at the time I receive it, which is very important and is one of reasons I choose fast delivery. Besides, the loop recording function enables 8GB card to work as same as other cards. It's really quick start, the camera switches on at the time I start my car, and off when engine off. What's more, it works great during drive. No shaky, but stable. The view is wide. And the design is also unique and attractive. It’s a small body but powerful. Overall, it’s working great at this price compared to similar product. And it would be better with a lager capacity SD card.

This is a really good camera with delicate package and appearance. It came with the 8GB SD card for free, which makes good shopping experience because I can use it immediately after installing. When starting vehicle and the camera turns on and starts recording immediately. Although it with small size, the view is wide to capture everything out of your front windshield.The video recorded in 1080P is good enough to be able to see incidents. It will show really good detail of what it is capturing. The files created are named with the date / time included to make it easier to find the one you're looking for quickly.When the memory card becomes full, it automatically deletes the oldest recording to make room. But you can set protect profile to avoid erasing. It also has emergency recording function, which can automatically record footage and image once there is sharp turn, sudden stop or bump. The footage and picture recorded in emergency is protected from loop recording. The only concern is that it doesn't really have a night time recording mode. However, it still records well at night and if there is light you can see everything in high quality.As for the actual functionality and picture quality, this dash cam is great, especially for the price!

This is a nice dash cam at a reasonable price, but it's not perfect. The video quality is good and it records a nice wide angle, which is what matters most, but it has some annoying aspects, too.---VIDEO QUALITY:---This camera records pretty darn nice video, even at night. It has a very wide angle lens and can nicely see everything happening in front of the vehicle. At night, the car's headlights are enough to give it a decent view of what's ahead. It records audio and video and it looks totally good enough to use in a crash investigation or for anything else you happen to see while driving.---FEATURES:---It has all the usual features you'd expect out of a dash cam, including loop recording, audio recording on/off, etc. It has a built-in battery, which is a really nice feature. After you turn the vehicle off, it counts down for 10 seconds, then stops recording. Nifty feature for sure. It includes an 8GB SD card, too, which is nice, and it will continue recording indefinitely, deleting the oldest files as the card gets full. It has a large LCD screen for viewing and playback. I would ideally like a way to turn the screen off while still recording, especially at night. The screen is fairly bright and visible in the dark.---MOUNTING IN THE CAR:---This dash cam uses a suction cup mount, which I don't like at all. I have another model of dash cam in my other car and it uses 3M adhesive, which holds MUCH more securely. The suction cup works, but it wobbles a lot more than adhesive tape, and it has a tendency to fall in hot weather. It also holds the camera farther away from the glass, which makes it see more of a reflection. I can see my dashboard reflected in the windshield in all videos with this camera.In addition, the mounting method means the camera hangs much lower in the car, making it distractingly visible to everyone in the car (and outside the car). The square shape doesn't help, either. It looks like you have a large GPS unit mounted to your windshield. If you park in a parking lot, anyone walking by can very clearly see this thing mounted to your windshield, it sticks out like a sore thumb. The dash cam I have in my other car is much more compact and hugs the windshield, making it much more discrete.---POWER WIRE:---The power wire included with this dash cam is plenty long enough to run around the dash board and hide in the side pillar and above the headliner, which is nice, but it only has a standard cigarette-lighter plug on the end, meaning it will take up the whole plug and you can't plug anything else in! So you'll need to get a cigarette-lighter plug splitter, or modify this cable to have a standard USB end, which is what I did. There's simply no reason why this needs to be like this. It should include a standard USB plug and a dual-USB cigarette-lighter plug, so can keep using your phone charger after installing.---CONCLUSION:---This is a nice camera that records high quality video, and that's what matters most. That being said, I can't especially recommend it due to the flaws. I recommend looking for a more compact camera that hugs the window closer and doesn't have these annoying issues.
