Excellent Organic Phosphorus Source for My Garden!
I've been using Espoma Organic Bone Meal for a few seasons now, and it's become a staple in my gardening routine. It's a fantastic way to add phosphorus to the soil, especially for my flowering plants and bulbs, promoting strong root development and abundant blooms. While it's not a complete fertilizer, it's a valuable addition to any organic gardening toolkit.

Works really well but keep your dogs away from it!
I applied this to some flowers/roses, some tomato plants and some peppers. My roses and all the flowers I put it on are doing really well. Our rose flowers are huge and there are a ton of them! I sprinkled it on top of the soil for them and buried it about 3-4 inches deep for the other flowers. With the tomato plants and peppers, I buried it 4-5 inches deep. The tomatoes have a lot of blooms but the tomatoes themselves aren't coming out. I've been told it's too hot and then cool in our area for the type of tomato that I bought. If I lived somewhere where it wasn't a 30 degree difference throughout the day, I'm sure it would be making tomatoes. So that isn't the bone meal's fault. The peppers are doing great though. We have much more than we've ever had. And they are huge already.I was sprinkling it on top of them because they are all in pots and I didn't want to destroy roots by digging. But our dog was licking the dirt and eating it. I didn't notice at first but as soon as I did, I tried to mix the dirt up over it and water it a lot. The dog could still smell it and then started digging into the pots that I originally sprinkled the bone meal onto. I'll never do that again! Apparently this is ground up cow bones. First time I used it and didn't know what it was, even though yes it did say "bone meal" on it. I thought maybe it was something else other than bone meal. I'm not ignorant about it anymore. I definitely recommend it help your vegetables grow bigger and to get more of them. Plus it helps flower a lot.

Garden Enrichment
My wife and I work our annual gardens pretty hard, so the last two years, we have added bone meal and blood meal to help the garden recover. This past year we had incredible production, which we attribute to adding those ingredients. So, I bought them again this fall and added them in November. I hope to get similar great production next summer.

Worth every penny.
I use this every year. I dig a hole to almost cover my entire tomato plant. Then I put about a fourth a cup of this in the hole with an entire egg, some egg shells and two aspirin. Then I put about an inch of dirt on top and then I put in the tomato plant and burry it up to where only a couple of leaves are poking out of the ground and then I water the crap out of it and move to the next hole and do the same thing. I only plant 4 plants and they always grow taller than me by about a foot and a half. I’m 5’9” so they get pretty tall and they get a ton of tomatoes. Anyway I love this product. It’s amazing

Saved my Veggies!
Amazing! Saved my veggie plants! I had several types of vegetable plants growing (tomatoes, a variety of peppers, and pole beans) that had a lot of strong foliage, but the plants weren't flowering. It was long past the time the plants should have been flowering. I added a tablespoon or so of this bone meal to each of my plants, watered them, and within a week they all began flowering. Highly recommend!
