Is This OK to apply on the outside of the gun?

Yes. However, It’s thick and a little hard to apply. I use a lighter oils for the outside of my weapon. I used this oil mainly for shotgun chokes and other areas that have either fine threads or get a lot of action.

Is this recommend for folding knives? Especially those with ball bearing washers?

I use it on my 1911’s and all steel guns. It’s pretty much like motor oil so it’s runny and it’ll drip like “3in1” oil would. It’s a great lubricant and easy to apply to tight spaces like in a folding blade.

What is the needle length?

Looks like a little less than than an inch? Never measured it. Long enough to reach those hard areas but short enough to maneuver around when oiling rails.

Can I use this on guns I plan on storing for a couple months

Yes it can be used for that it's good stuff I have multiple bottles as long as it's not stored in a super wet or humid area if it will be subject to harsh Temps i would use the lucas gun greese instead. But if not yes this will work fine.

Amazon screwed up but

What little bit i did receive of this works great! Only got one bottle instead of two, and the one that did show up leaked everywhere... But there was a few drops left on the package, used it to coat my BCG after a good cleaning and wow it's noticably smoother. I'll definitely be picking up some more and hopefully it'll actually show up as ordered next time.
