This swim belt was something I wanted to get in order to help my child feel more independent while learning to swim. This is not something you would want to put on your child and go too far away from them. It just helps keep them afloat enough to practice their growing skills better. I have recently found out that some pools in which I would use this before are no longer allowing them because of the tendency they have to tilt the child forward and the guidelines are now requiring safety jackets, however, this is something that works really well for training if you stay close and keep an eye on your child. Overall, I am very happy that I got this belt and would recommend it to others depending on what their needs were.

Easy to adjust, strap is a little long
This has been a great aid in helping our 4-year-old learn to swim. We started off with all the boards in place and started removing one at a time until her confidence improved. The setup is pretty straightforward, but we found that too much excess strap had to be tucked in.

Not as advertised
The floaty is smaller than advertised- true measurements are 21.5cm x 17cm x 7.5cm. Also, it’s only 4 blocks of foam, not 6 like the pics show.I will be returning it
