This is a terrific book for understanding accounting from a managerial perspective. I don't understand the negative comments concerning this accounting book. It does help to make the university course easier if you have a bit of accounting experience.

Purchased of my high school son's accounting class. Mostly used as a reference for doing homework as printed material is no longer provided and this topic required some refreshing on my part and the additional book info was helpful.

Solid book with good foundation in basic accounting principles, easy to understand and very concise. Gives many real-world examples that help tie the material into concepts the student will be familiar with.
