United cutlery items are normally cheap and temporary products that will definitely break overtime, I don't know about this one though. This axe is very well built and bites very well into logs and has not faulted yet. It seems quite difficult to argue with it besides the handle being a little short for a splitting type of axe head but overall it's an axe worth buying and worth keeping.

This is not as long as I was originally thinking but turns out with the shorter handle it’s easier to use. Great for chopping. Haven’t split any logs but have chopped plenty of 4”-6” in diameter trees and actually had fun doing it. Easy to swing and with a sharp blade made a quick and easy job of knocking down the trees. Also makes for better storage as this fits nicely in the cargo box on the front of my Polaris sportsman four wheeler that comes standard on the front. Perfect for the trails. I will update this review if anything changes.

Good looking, well-constructed axe but it definitely needs sharpened before you tackle a tree of any size.

Great ax! Handle is super comfortable. Cuts really well. Its a lower chromium stainless. It oxidized a bit. Scotch bright or wire wheel cleaned it up well.It looks great mounted to my cycle.

I had originally gave this a great rating. I am now changing that for a couple reasons. This is a composite handle ax. In a very odd location, the ax broke right in half. Never would we have thought that chopping a 4" diameter branch would cause that. I do understand that things can oddly happen without reason or proper cause. My main issue is the complete lack of communication from the seller. I have made several attempts to contact them. I have heard nothing back from them. I was wondering about the warranty information. It seems like once I completed this purchase, my business is no longer important.

Its an axe... and axes are pretty badass. What else to say? It cuts things... that's awesome. It looks cool hanging on the workshop wall... that's awesome. It swings very easy and destroys small logs. The blade cover that comes on it can be destroyed in one swing, by my wife who is only 118 pounds, so it's not an indestructible blade cover.

Came on time, fear quality and really nice. But was not sharp at all when I got it.

I like that the axe is black & light weight, just my size. Wearing a well fit grip gloves you'll have more handling and control while swinging. I bought this axe so that I could chop woods for my grandma & auntie but their living situation changed. So I haven't even used it, not once. The most I did was swing the axe like I was going to chop some wood. It's good to know I can say I do have an axe & got wood?
