It is lightweight and easy place over my window to help keep the sunlight/heat out. Doesn’t take as long to cool the room during these intense high temperatures.

i bought this to help with summer heat in my travel trailer. i placed it over the top of the trailer under a heavy tarp. it has made over a twenty five degree heat difference during the day. my air conditionier is not working half as hard. this is important being off grid. i tested this product and i found it to take all kinds of punishment. i place a peace of this on a Colman camp stove and at peak heat i could still place my hand on top of it after three minutes. it took all the punishment i could give it and i will be reordering it.

This is not self adhesive, must use tape just fyi. It doesn't bulge though, it lays nice and flat on whatever you're insulating. Very easy to work with. In fact I purchased a second roll of insulation which is being shipped to me now. I insulated a plastic dog house for a bunch of feral cats. I put an electric blanket inside. The insulation is amazing. It reflects heat. With outside temps in the low 20's it stays in the mid to upper 40's inside the cat house (note I put a table right in front of the entrance to the dog/ cat house from which I hung a plastic shower curtain which makes 3 walls around the entrance to protect from wind/ rain / snow blowing inside, so this helps a lot with the temperature also). I highly recommend this product!!!

Using this inside feral cat houses I have in my yard. Easy to install. Hopefully it does the job.

I bought this insulation to make side window sun shields for my car while it sit in the hat parking lot at work along with the windshield sun shield a already had. They dramatically reduce the heat in my car when I get in to it after work... and saves your interior from being cooked from the sun day after day this will pay off years down the line.

I cut a piece to fit in my sunroof for the AZ summer. It makes a big difference.It’s over 100 degrees and very sunny right now and I feel minimal heat coming through my sunroof.It is stiff enough that when I tuck it in the edges it stays put and doesn’t push down on the mesh screen that rolls closedI’m going to cut a few pieces for the odd shaped windows in my fiat*tip. If you do this, be careful opening your mesh cover screen. Be sure the reflective sheet doesn’t get caught and roll up into the mechanism.

I used this aluminum sheeting as an insulating material on a "drafty" window. Easy to cut to size. I then taped it in place. It reduces air leakage from the outside; a good insulator

My apartment gets overheated, so I bought this to wrap some of the heating pipes that run through.It seems to help, but I would caution buyers that the foil covering is extremely flimsy. It adheres and peels off onto the pipes when removed; and any abrasion (e.g., a bungee cord holding it in place) causes chunks of it to scrape off.It's cheap, so maybe that's just the going rate, but I would try a different brand next time.

I have used it to insulate my water heater. It is light, easy to cut and adjust. Taped it with aluminium tape.
