Disney Women's Belle Ball Gown Deluxe Adult Costume

This dress fit great and is really cute. It does leave glitter behind... so be prepared!

I loved this costume, but unfortunately I can't give my purchase a five star rating because it arrived with a tear in it which I needed to take to a dry cleaners to have repaired.

UPDATED REVIEW: Overall, this dress pulled through and did it’s job for the night. We were quite the couple out on the town, and got TONS of compliments. My sewing job held up, although still disappointed that I had to sew it to begin with.ORIGINAL REVIEW: While this dress did fit me perfectly, I was surprised it did. I ordered a size small. The size chart on the back says that it will fit someone who is between 5’7-5’8 and between 110-120 pounds. I am 5’4 and around 125-127ish pounds and it fits be perfectly and doesn’t drag on the ground like I thought it would. If you are a taller person, this dress may be short on you.The main reason for my poor review though is that my dress came ripped in a few areas along the seams. There is a very large 3 inch rip right along the seam in the bodice. And two other smaller rips in the bodice up near the shoulders. This dress really is poor quality, although I suppose it will do its job on Halloween for one night. Going to need to break out the sewing kit though for this one.Also, the dress is quite itchy. Fabrics like this typically don’t bother me all that much, but this one really is itchy.Overall, I’m disappointed in this purchase. I expected to order something that at least wouldn’t come ripped. I’ll try to cob it up because I don’t really have another option, but I’d at least like some money back for this poor quality.

It was for my adult daughter for a party she is going to. It was a med she is a 7-8 size fit perfect. It is from the newest Beauty and the Beast movie. Dress a little different from the original one. Material very nice.

As soon as I put the costume on my daughter and closed the back velcro straps, the front of the bodice piece frayed and came apart at the seam. I spent two hours repairing the front bodice piece, which I had to take in 2 inches, just to get the fabric to stop fraying. The fabric is cheap, stiff and it was poorly constructed. Since I am a costume designer by trade, I know a lot about garment construction and this was poorly made.

It ran a bit big, but that wasn’t a problem. The only issue I have with the costume is the glitter. The glitter was falling off the dress from the moment I took it out of the bag. It did not stay on the dress, but rather went all over my floor, all over my dog (who was dressed as the beast), all in my car, EVERYWHERE! The glitter is difficult to clean up too. I’ve never had a problem with glitter coming off of a glittery costume before. The costume seems poorly made for all of the glitter just coming off of it.

The costume stretches great and give plenty of room for movement.
