Good Product / Poor Instructions
Edited Review: This is a great product. Very loud and effective theft deterrent. The original instructions were hard to understand & all but impossible to figure out how to adjust any of the settings - but the company reached out after I posted my original review & sent me a little pdf with a much clearer "How To" guide & I'm pleased to say it works like a charm now! Since it comes shipped to you on the highest settings, the alarm is blaring & the sensitivity is way too high. Now that I was able to figure out how to adjust it, it works great. Someone actually complimented me on it at a store the other day. This is well worth the money you will spend on it, & it comes from a company who cares about their reviews and its customers. 2 thumbs up. :)

Sensitive and loud
I've been using this alarm on my motorcycle for over 6 months now and it does everything it promised. It's loud and will grab attention if someone tries to move your bike or hits it with their car or something. Just make sure you hide it in a hard to find spot and remember to disarm before you try to ride off again.I loved it so much I got another one from this brand with the silver remote for my other motorcycle but that one's defective so I'll probably just get this one again.

Great product
Only using for a couple of months but so far it works as described and gives me the piece of mind that it will hopefully deter a thief. Just a small bump of the scooter gives a warning sound. Then if bumped again it sounds for 30 seconds. Easy to place and very easy to use.

easy to use, reliable, & loud
I've used this alarm for around 9 months now. It gives me great peace of mind when I have to take my eyes off my bike for a couple minutes. It still works good-as-new even now. Let's talk about the details:INSTALLATIONThe alarm comes with zipties to attach to your bike. I have a very well-concealed black part of my frame that works nicely for this. Underneath your seat is another good option. If you want extreme protection, you can use metal zipties. Keep in mind that you will need to eventually replace the battery, and you might need to cut through the metal zipties to do so. Have the necessary tools ready (probably a Dremel).SETTING THE ALARMEasy enough, just press the big round button on the remote. You can be pretty far away to do so. One complaint: the alarm makes a loud beep when you set it. This makes sense: you want to know the alarm's going to be loud. It's not so great for crowded places though: expect a lot of attention. I wish there was a quieter beep when you set the alarm and a separate "test" functionality that let you inspect the loudness of it.TRIGGERING THE ALARMThe alarm is extremely sensitive. The smallest touch will set it off. It will allow some movement after initially setting the alarm though. Triggering the alarm causes with a moderately loud warning beep, followed by an ear-splittingly loud alarm if you keep moving the bike around.UNSETTING THE ALARMWorks just like setting the alarm. Again: it makes a loud noise, and I really wish it made a quieter one so I didn't have to disturb other people around me.MAINTENANCEThis is a pretty simple device. You don't need to do much to maintain it. At some point (9 months for me) the alarm will start making a warning beep for low battery. The alarm itself takes 3 AAA batteries. It can be kind of hard to open: the alarm comes with a special plastic triangle for prying it open. This is another thing I would improve: why not just have some Phillips-head screws?IMPORTANT: replace the remote's battery whenever you replace the alarm's battery. The remote will not alert you if it has low battery. It will last longer than the alarm batteries, though. So once the alarm alerts you of low battery, replenish it and the remote. The remote takes a single A27 battery. This is a standard battery size that's easy to find. It's very easy to replace the remote's battery with a small Phillips-head screwdriver.

Got a Faulty Unit, Company Dealt with it Immediately, and I would Highly Recommend!
(The Company responded to me, and offered either a REFUND or a new unit. Very good Customer Service.)From the very start, this unit "chirped" randomly. I changed the batteries, but it still chirped. I tried all the different levels of sensitivity, but the chirping continued. At the highest level (which is the default), the alarm went off for no reason. We were sitting outside, by the bike, and NOTHING touched the bike, there was no wind, alarm went off. I've ordered a 2nd one, and it works perfectly. I know at least 5 other people in our Gated Community that have ordered this product and are very happy with it.
