Wow!
When this arrived, I was wowed at how tiny the box was that it came in. I knew it was going to be small, but my goodness, this thing is cute! While this is super cute, it is quite handy and I love it. It is small and unassuming. Anyone can pull this out and people are not threatened by the smallness of the knife and they are familiar with the brand enough to see it as a tool. This comes with a great setup of handy tools that can be used every day in nearly all environments.*The little knife is quite tiny, but is very sharp and useful. It is perfect for most every day tasks, such as opening packages.*The file tool can be used in, at least, three different ways. Of course you can use the file in a handful of ways itself, whether evening out whittling marks or using it to file nails. The tip can be used as a screwdriver, to clean under your nails, or, my main use-case for this tool, to pull staples out of things (it’s good for light prying).*The Phillips head screw driver is awesome! It is tiny, but works on things you wouldn’t expect it to be large enough to fit (I tightened up the regular-sized screws on my doorknob today and it worked like a charm). It is also magnetic, which just makes this thing that much more awesome. This tool has a wire stripper and a cap lifter, too, and they’re nice to have in the off-change I might use them, especially if not taking up more space, but I don’t know that I’ll ever actually use either.*The scissors are small and sharp and easy to use. They are very springy and cut effortlessly. They are perfect for normal, every day uses, such as cutting tags, snipping loose strings, etc.*The toothpick is self stated, but can be used for other life hack type things, I’ve seen. I might use this in a toothpick emergency, but it wouldn't be something I’d find myself habitually using.*The tweezers can come in handy for a great number of tasks, such as plucking the stray hair, removing a splinter, or even removing a tick if such an event were to occur.Overall, this knife is super tiny and packs a powerful punch. I think this is about the perfect every day carry sort of tool. I do like a dedicated, locking knife for a handful of other tasks, but for 90% of my uses, this little guy is a gem. You slide it in your pocket or purse and it easily disappears and is not intimidating, yet is very useful, when pulled out. I highly recommend this and find that everyone could benefit from one of these.

Clever, Well-Made Tools for Minor Emergencies
Knife and scissors sharp enough to cut paper, so very well made for the small tool it is. Bottle cap lifter works after some positioning, and I wish the screwdrivers were a more serious size. On the other hand, it practically disappears in the key pocket of my jeans. Overall, you can live without it but if you can spare the $25, it is a lot better than nothing when you need one of its tools for a minor emergency.

The GOAT of keychain knives
What else is there to say? Maybe the greatest keychain multi tool ever made, and an excellent choice for EDC in general. A multi tool’s value is dependent on having it on your person when needed, and there is nothing easier to carry than the Rambler. It’s smaller than I thought, but every tool is functional and they are the ones most people are most likely to need. Scissors are tiny but have Victorinox’s usual excellent fit and finish, and between them and the file they are perfectly sufficient to fix your nails on the go. Knife blade is likewise tiny, but sharp and plenty large enough to slice open boxes and packages. Tweezers and toothpick are same full size that come on 91mm Swiss Army Knives. Philips screwdriver is well made and works, but I wouldn’t go trying to push it too hard. As for the small flathead on the end of the file, I would have liked if they had made it either large enough to use on full size slotted screws, or small enough to use on eyeglass screws, but it should still work on some small fasteners in a pinch, and can double as a fingernail cleaner. Considering I can open a bottle with just about any flat hard object, the bottle opener is the tool I am least likely to ever use, but it is integrated into the phillips screwdriver and therefore not taking up space unnecessarily.Seeing how small this thing is, I realized that a 91mm SAK, provided its not too thick and chunky, would not be too large to hang on my keychain, but Victorinox has yet to make one with a tool set as perfect for EDC as this one. My ideal 91mm keychain SAK would have: knife, scissors, coarse/fine file, phillips driver and flathead driver, with tweezers, toothpick, and a pen contained in the scales. If they could find room somewhere for an eyeglass screwdriver that would be a bonus. Until they make my perfect keychain SAK, the Rambler is as close as it gets. It has almost everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Good upgrade to the classic
I’ve had the classic standard on my keychain for decades and decided to try one with a Phillips head/bottle opener on it. It has a little more beef to it. Nothing you’d notice in a negative way in your pocket but it gives me more confidence in its strength if I have to tighten a screw without running to the toolbox. The Rambler is the one on top in the comparison photos.

Mighty Mini
Small but for a key ring, they are the perfect size—a great addition to my key ring. Don't be deceived, these are very sharp and functional. Not a toy for the kids
