Creative Flower and Plant Photography: tips and tricks for taking stunning shots

I’ve been photographing flowers for 2 years now, insects for 3 years and love using various lenses (especially vintage lenses) and techniques to achieve different results, all done through trial and error. This book is packed with images by the author, and lots of technical information, not just camera and lens related information, but also about flowers, plants, fungi etc with names, when and how to photograph them, outdoors and indoors, where to look for them, what photography accessories to use in a certain setting, how the images were edited. This is by default the best book on flower photography ever, not only it packs all the necessary information, it is also beautifully and neatly presented.I only received it 30 mins ago and it is already my favourite book.Thank you for bringing this book to life, for making my photographer life slightly easier and more organised.

Since lockdown and working from home fulltime my photography has been leaning towards more homegrown subjects, namely our garden. Hadn't realised it but flower photography has slowly become 'my thing' and so I'm always on the look out for new ideas and methods and this book is packed full of them! It's brilliantly written, with superb images to show the various methods. I've started building a shopping lists of items required to take my flower photography up a notch and have already bought a couple of vintage lenses to get me going. Looking forward to putting some of these ideas into practice. I honestly can't recommend this book highly enough! Great work Molly!

The strap line, tips and tricks for taking stunning photos, sums the book up perfectly. The book is full of absolutely stunning images and the advice given is so helpful and easy to follow. This book is a must for anyone who wants to improve their own flower photography, or for those who simply appreciate looking at beautiful images.

There are some stunning pictures in this book (some of which are award winning I have since found out) and the advice given is very simple to follow.

What an amazing, well written book. The images and photography across the book are superb and this is the supplemented by Molly's detailed, but very clear, descriptions on how she produces her sublime images. The photos are amazing. My only wish is that it was on Kindle, so I could have it with me when I was out with my camera. :)
