HDMI Switch 3x1 3 Port Splitter Supports 4K Full HD1080p 3D with IR Remote Metallic Shell (1 Pack)

This HDMI switch was provided to me at no charge in exchange for an unbiased review.This hdmi switch allows you to connect three sources to one hdmi port on your tv. The box is small, not cheap looking and feels like it is made of quality materials. It looks nice too. In my setup, I connected the hdmi switch to an available hdmi port on my tv then connected a PS3, PS4 and Nintendo Switch video game console to the hdmi switch. The hdmi switch requires a 5v power source to operate so I connected the included USB cable to an available USB port on my tv. The switch is powered on automatically when my tv is turned on.When one of the source consoles is powered up, the hdmi switch automatically switches to the correct source. There is a power button and a button for manually switching sources on the front of the box. A small remote control is included and worked but wasn't necessary due to the convenient auto switching. I could hide the switch out of sight since manually switching sources isn't necessary, but it looks nice and I don't mind it being visible sitting next to my other components.I already own two devices similar to this hdmi switch. Most modern set top boxes and video game consoles power down into a low power standby mode rather than shutting down completely when not in use. On the hdmi switches that I have been using for years, this prevents the auto switching function from working. The source has to be switched manually.However, with this hdmi switch it isn't an issue at all. Even with connected devices left in standby mode, auto-switching still works flawlessly.This switch supports HD up to 4K. The sound and HD video look great with no signal noise or other noticeable degradation in quality. I did not have any 4K sources to test.In summary, this switch is great and well worth the money. I'll be ordering another one so I can connect the rest of my video game consoles to another hdmi port on my tv. If you have more consoles or devices than hdmi ports on your tv, you can't go wrong ordering this hdmi switch.

I have a tv that has 2 HDMI ports & one quit working. I thought I was out of luck & would have to keep switching the cable between my cable box & Roku, depending on what I wanted to watch, which was a pain to keep changing the cable on the back of my tv hanging on the wall. Then, someone told me about these switches. I researched a little & decided to give this one a try since it has a remote. (Btw Target only carried one, it had no remote & was $35) I am not a very technical person! It was easy to set up, even for me! The unit & remote were smaller than I expected, but that was a good thing! I had read that it didn’t come with a power source, so that confused me, but when I got it, I realized the USB cord it comes with is all you need for power! You just plug that into your tv & it supplies the power. No plugging into a wall outlet! The remote makes it simple to switch between cable box, Roku, & DVD player! Personally, I’m about 10 feet from the box, no issues! This little device is great & I highly recommend it to anyone who needs more HDMI ports.

Our 3 HDMI port TV has turned into a 5 port TV with this USB powered splitter. Quality of the signal is undiminished. Our Dolby HDR TV was able to process the same 4K signal from the ROKU as before.Make sure you have a USB port on or near your TV to power this baby. Keep the plastic battery saver tab. You can resinsert it into the remote to save battery when not in use. Only nitpick for this device is that the small size make it impossible to sit flush. The tension from the HDMI cables pull it up so it sits at a slight rear raised angle. Recommended.

I like the style and design of the switch however the remote never worked unless you were about a foot in front of it. Not much value there. So I started just switching manually BUT if I use the TV remote to change the volume from across the room it switches the port you are on and I have to get back up go change it back manually. So the IR works, just not with the remote provided and randomly changes using a TV remote. Too late to return so am trashing it and finding another more reliable device.

New Amazon fire tv tells me this does not support HDCP 2.2. HDCP 2.2 is specifically designed for 4K Ultra HD (4K) content, as well as movies and TV shows available with High Dynamic Range (4K HDR).It displays as 1080p.If I plug fire tv directly into tv I get full ultra hd

Works well for what it is. Doesn’t come with a power adapter. Just a USB. Luckily my TV had a spare port open. The lights will keep switching until you power on an HDMI device. Doesn’t work with the TV’s HDMI device detect. Picture is fine on a 65” 4K tv.

The remote distance gets frustrating at about 6 feet. Absolute max working distance is about 10 feet. hard to get repeatable results. When the tv has been turned off and you turn it back on the splitter has always reset the the channel input to channel one. Which is abnormal.

Awesome, this is just what I needed! I have my Wii U and Android TV box hooked up to this HDMI Switch that is hooked up to my 55" Vizio 4k HDTV. This HDMI Switch allows me to easily change sources. The quality of the video is also great.
