This is a decent enough thermal printer, but getting what you want to print lined up on pre-defined labels (fixed length) is a real pain. If you use continuous roll labels you can simply trim the printed label to get things centered, but using predefined length labels and centering things is not a trivial task. To bad the D35 didn't add automatic label centering as a new feature. I've seen reviews that say "use the software to center things" but for the software I downloaded (iPhone) there isn't any alignment feature that I can find...

I wanted a label maker to label all my little things. This printer was a decent price and seemed like it would fit the bill. It came with very few instructions and didn't tell me what size the labels where that were included. The next day I received a detailed email with all the instructions. It was perfect and extremely needed. I wish it was in the box but thankful they sent it. In general, the printer is easy to use with the app. My only complaint is the ink on the label can rub off after a lot of uses.

I love this thing! I'm glad I bought it on sale, because the price would've felt a bit steep otherwise, but I'm happy with it. You do need to replace labels when you run out, but it's thermal so you never need to buy ink. The app is fun and easy to use. The labels are a bit small, but I'm only using them for home organization and they're fine for me. One thing to be aware of is that the first label you print after turning it on will always be wasted, because the machine is lining it up and the printing is off. I'm not sure if there's a way around that. It feels a bit wasteful, but I just try to print a larger number all at once so I'm not turning it off and on and having to recalibrate every time.

This little label maker is just what I needed. I can pull up the app on my phone and 2 minutes later I have labels for anything. I am not into fancy labels, so I can't say how well the bells or whistles work, but for labeling containers in the fridge, spices, plastic bottles full of otherwise unknowns, orchids (information about each), and tons of other things, they are super. I seldom have to charge the printer. I did buy a very nice case for it, and in a pinch (or call it lazy), I can even print a label while it's still in the case. I haven't had any trouble with it. You do have to learn not to press the print button while holding it, because it will print a blank label every time. But you can get a Lot of labels from one tiny roll.

I bought this for general labeling of shelves, bottles, etc. It goes far beyond this. The app has many types of features and settings to choose from allowing you to customize your labels and express yourself in your way. Battery life is excellent. Very easy to change and load labels.

I love this thing, it’s amazing! It’s an upgrade from my Brother labelmaker and is just so fun. The app easily lets you make all kinds of labels and lets you change fonts, add icons and borders too. Plus so many extra tapes to buy! It comes with a sample of cut white ones, but you can get cable labels (they have a tail!), themed ones and continuous colored ones. So fun. Ive gone a little crazy labeling everything for myself and my parents too. Cannot recommend enough.

Charge it and then really easy to use. I only looked at the user guide to check how to load the roll of labels. I printed my first label within maybe a minute. My spice jars will be beautifully labelled soon!

You gotta buy pre-cute labels.It doesn’t thermally generate it

I’ve learned to use this machine through customer care. Jessie has been very helpful with my troubleshooting. After some navigation, this has become my go-to to stay organized. I’m happy with the tech and the idea behind the machine. Such a small gadget that’s portable, and pretty to look at. This has replaced my Dymo and other professional label maker at work. I will recommend to others.
