I love my FidoRido! I used to think of it as a luxury, but after having this pet car seat, and seeing how safe my pets are in the car now, I now consider the pet car seat a necessity! I like that you can also use the FidoRido as a wash basin for your dogs on road trips. It can also double as a bed in the house when you don't need it in the car. I use my FidoRido ever time we go on car trips now. Whether it's around the corner or on a road trip, the FidoRido is a must. Plus, I can tell my pets love it too because they are not sliding all over the car. They can see out the window and aren't going to fall off the seat and hurt themselves. I have two small dogs and they fit perfectly in one FidoRido carrier. The slip cover is washable, and the seat belt feature makes the car seat sturdy. You can also buy a foam wedge for bucket seats, which I am considering on doing. For now I just use a folded yoga blanket so the car seat doesn't tilt backwards.

The narrow end of the car seat goes up against the back seat, it does not set long ways which I would have thought might have accomodated the 2 dogs better. It is a firm foam block covered by a soft fleece cover. Its good so your dog can see out the window, but other than raising them up a bit, I don't see alot of benefit over the $5 seat belt attachment that clips to their harness and into the back seat belt. I have two of these. This is my 2nd one I have two Italian Greyhounds - one is 13 lbs and one is 8.5 lbs they fit nicely in it - it is sturdy, strong and my dogs are contained but still able to sit up high enough to see out the windows. It does not hurt my leather car seats either I would highly recommend this for 2 small dogs. It even comes with 2 very nice harnesses
