Works! Nice innovation to eliminate the struggles of mounting bicycle tires
I was in the middle of putting tire & tube back on a 700c/29er rim when this arrived. I can't say yet how good it is for tire removal, but that's not the hard part. Getting your tire back on the rim, that's the hard part. The Tyre Glider put my tire back on the rim MUCH more easily than using the usual plastic tire levers that we all carry. O.M.G. easy. As always when mounting tires, it is MUCH easier if you pay attention to keeping most of the bead that you're working on in the central depression or valley or channel of the rim. Watch a few YouTube videos and heed the advice on positioning your body and the tire & rim: the easy motion is forward and downward. Forward and downward. If you watch a demo video and they don't show the forward and downward motion, you are not watching the right demo video. Keep looking! Watch "John on a Bike" to see a guy struggle the first time. He also did a later review of the newer, red model of Tyre Glider. Watch "James Social Cycling" to see a guy using the tool backwards when he first mounts his tire. He then does it correctly at about the 4 minute mark, and he reluctantly admits that the Tyre Glider works well. Watch "Tom Stringer" to see a roadside repair of a flat tire, done by a fellow who knows how to do it right. Watch "Ride with Roy" for the inventor AND A NOOBIE demonstrating on some difficult tires. This gadget is a really, really good innovation for do-it-yourself bike maintenance. It is small enough and useful enough that it easily earns its place in your on-the-bike toolkit. I recommend the Tyre Glider highly.

Easiest way to remove and put back a tire
Love this tool, I have it on my bike bag and have used it numerous times. Its amazing quality and it saves you so much time when removing and replacing the tire. The design makes it very easy to use, fits in any bike bag and its not heavy at all.

Best tire tool since the basic tire lever.
This is a genius tool. I was able to install a pair of tubeless tires (Schwalbe) on a tubeless carbon rim (Bontrager) with a firm push of my hand. You only need it for the last 6-8 inches of tire bead. It is small and light enough to add to your bike's tool pouch for roadside emergencies. I did not have any issues with rim scratches or tool breakage as others have described. Watch videos on how to use it.

Worked great out of the box on Pirelli tubeless tires, but design does have a weak point
Worked great right out of the box on Pirelli tubeless tires, with minimal effort on the first try -- way easier than using traditional tire levers. Tubeless tires fit tight and this tool got them off no problem. I see that some people said in their reviews that the plastic broke off right at the weakest point -- the little nub that clips over the rim when sliding the tool around the rim. That didn't happen for me but I could see how it could happen. So, I think I will buy an additional one of these tools -- one for more frequent use in my home shop, and the 2nd for emergencies only in my saddle bag. This will reduce wear and tear on the one I will need when I get a flat tire on the road.

Impressive, much faster and easier than standard levers
I used this yesterday to replace the tube on my road bike, with tight Continental GT 5000 tires, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. I used to use generic old-style levers, and it would take 10 minutes to swap a tube, and half the time I'd break a lever and/or puncture the tube. This gizmo has a bit of a learning curve, but the Youtube video from the designer was helpful. I especially like the way it grips the side of the rim and doesn't need to go under the tube as much, which can cause pinches/punctures.

Works well on clincher/folding tires only
One of my hands is weak to use tire levers, so this tools makes it easier for me to change tires. It damaged 2 Michelin Protek, and 2 Vittoria tires; some while removing and others while installing. Saved the third Vittoria tire by applying soapy water to the bead, but it did not survived the next removal. Noticed that clincher/folding tires are less prone to this issue while removing or installing. So far, after maybe 20 uses it the tool hasn't brake...yet, so beware of the many reviews of this tool breaking.. Soapy water on the rim or tire bead works well and aids on sitting the edge of the tire evenly and properly on the rim. Use patience especially during last part of installation...easy does it. The tool works best with 25m or larger tires...23m are difficult (especially when new). I carry tire levers in addition to this item just in case. Luckily for me the problems occurred while performing maintenance and home and not on the road.
