Reborn: The Jade Phoenix Saga, Book 1

Brilliant read
So there's a lot to unpack about this book. There's a lot of side characters, intricate plots and a very complex skill system involved. The main character is likeable, though I honestly don't understand her dedication to such a terrible family since only a handful of the family and clan members seem redeemable. Even her parents who act sorry just continue to manipulate her for their own gains.

A genuinely exceptional read
I normally start these books and get bored half way and stop reading. This kept me wanting more all the way. The author has cleverly found a way to apply reasonable constraints to an OP MC. It's refreshing and well told. Looking forward to book 2

Amazing
It's in fact quite hard to find such a gripping LITRPG book. The type that you can't put down until you finish it, despite it's big size. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It reminded me a little of Iron Prince, as both books seem to express the "hard work will triumph against all adversity" type of feeling.A truly fantastic read and I'm looking forward to the next book!

Brilliant.
Excellent cultivation story , Yu is a virtual cripple , her body is so weak that a breath of air would blow her over , she is only alive because her clan are wealthy and powerful but she is ignored as useless and a burden , for all her problems she doesn't lack spirit and constantly struggles to grow stronger but until her courage attracts a mortally wounded primordial she is destined for a life of struggle and pain. Yu grabs her fate and against much adversity reaches for her dream , this is a great start to the series and Yu is a MC that it is very easy to cheer on.

Brilliant. Looking forward to the Sequel
This was a very well written, character driven, epic litrpg fantasy that is also a coming of age story. The beginning made me tear up in sympathy for the teenage girl Yu and the ending made me laugh! After everything the MC went through, I really want to read about her life in a Sect! It was brilliantly told from her POV and the nefarious plots seem interesting enough, I can't wait to see what happens next! I would recommend this book to all those who like action, mystery, drama and cultivation fantasy.

enjoyable
I liked the book overall and the story was an enjoyable light reading, i did dislike the feeling that everything is controlled by a higher power(fate) instead of a free life where every creature’s decision is their own, and while i did like the MC i did hate her soft side and compassionate side, for someone bullied all their lives who should rightly hate everyone in the city and wish for revenge she acted contrary and forgave everyone and was gentle and kind instead of cruel which what would she would have done following psychological behaviour for someone traumatised (anyone who goes through what she had would most likely end up a psychopath), other than that, the power system is interesting and i liked it, the story is short though for a story like this it’ll require multiple books before it could come close to finish, hopefully a second book will come around soon as i will definitely be reading.

The Phoenix Advances
I like how this book clearly sets the foundation for a series, it truly allows for a connection to be formed with the main character, Yu. The story is funny at times while heart-wrenching at others to the point where one wishes they could also help.I like how the LitRPG aspect has been added to the cultivation and how it is represented. This time, there aren't too many stats and it is clear what does or affects what.Yu is a genius and they story is already so engrossing in book one, I simply can't wait for more of this.

Improved
I follow this on RR and enjoyed it but was enraged a lot of the time. So pleased to read this not only that the author managed to publish but that they have grown and improved the writing and story in leaps and bounds. Cant wait to read the next one.
