I got it in the silver option (nickel plated) and it looks great. My music teacher took it for a test drive and awarded it a “two thumbs up—for a student saxophone”.A saxophone is s machine that shapes sound. This one works well in experienced hands. I’m a complete novice so it is teaching me all about saxophany. It’s built well, sounds good and plays well enough to keep me practicing…and learning.The price made it much less than four months of a good rental sax, (About $300 w/tax)

It's the perfect saxophone for beginners to intermediate, I am a junior in highschool band and I play many instruments. This saxophone has a great sound quality, especially in the lower register. As for the reeds the are 2½, and there are 11 total, 1 comes already put in the mouth piece, and the other 10 are sealed in a box. I would say you might have to adjust your mouthpiece a little further down then normal but that not an issue really. The only thing I could honestly think of as a critique is a better neck strap, it has no padding but it is bearable. It came with everything the package says.

My son bought this as a learning saxophone. His friend came to stay with us a few days and was playing it all weekend. He will be buying one soon!

always wanted to play the sax now starting out as a beginner this buy is everything and works great for the amount money spent.

I bought Juan because I wasn’t sure about how much I wanted to spend incase the sax was not the instrument for me. The octive key on the neck broke 5 months after I bought it. I was a very careful user and never dropped or hit the sax on any way. One day while practicing the octave key just completely broke off. Luckily I has the insurance but didn’t have the instrument until I could replace it. Don’t buy this one.

This Alto sax surpases all of our expectations. Amazing quality and sound for such a reasonable price. The silver colour looks fantastic, very stylish. It arrived earlier than the expected date. Case is solid and came with everything it said it would, including quality reeds. I can't say enough great things about this company.
