When the product arrived, it came in a white box and it was split in one corner. Surprised that it wasn't shipped inside another box. I don't know if it came from Amazon this way or Large Mart. I was concerned that perhaps the product was damaged but fortunately it wasn't.This is the fourth food chopper type that I have purchased to try within the last few months and once again disappointment. I am very careful and use these products according to their instructions but what I keep finding out is these are promoted well but turn out to be poor quality. The description clearly says that it will chop vegetables. It did, it chopped red potatoes with the quarter inch blade and chopped small carrots with the small dicing blade. Both of these blades left small plastic pieces on the chopped food. With the potatoes it left a few pieces of plastic but it really got bad with the carrots. The problem? The plastic fingers in the lid are too flexible. When they come in contact with the food they are bending against the blades and naturally the blades are slicing off pieces of plastic. This is not good and represents bad quality. If I had not seen this or caught this, this could have been a bad situation. If a child got this plastic caught in their throat and choked or it caused cuts in the mouth or intestine track, I think we all now where this could lead.I do not recommend this product. It may be okay for onions or softer foods but definitely not for potatoes or carrots. I have my doubts about many of the reviews left for these food choppers. When I see 5 stars and people say it's great or works great, I often wonder if it is someone that is associated with the company or friends in order to sell the product. I suggest to the company that they pull this product off Amazon and that Amazon should stop selling it until the seller can provide a safer and better made product. This product is a consumer hazard and is not safe.It seems like a well designed product but the quality is missing. The amount of chopping I did should have also been done by the manufacturer. A simple test of using potatoes and carrots would provide sufficient evidence that the plastic is not hard enough to prevent bending into the blades when chopping. The clear plastic bottom is flimsy and could easily break.If the product were a quality product and had functioned the way it is designed, I would give it 5 stars but sadly it did not live up to all the hype in the description. I left it with 1 star but if I could have given it a 0, I would. Again this product is not safe to use. The manufacturer needs to take it back to the drawing board and provide a better quality product. One that does not leave plastic on the food.I have provided pictures to show the pieces of plastic when chopping the carrots. I do not have any pictures to show the plastic on the potatoes.I tried 3 small carrots as seen in the first photo. I thought the lid was going to break when I tried to chop. The pictures 2 through 5 shows the pieces of plastic. Picture 6 shows the plastic fingers cut into and some with slivers of plastic. Not good, not good at all!Again, I do not recommend this product and recommend that Amazon discontinue the sell of this product on their website.

Works like a charm! several blades to pick from. I tried everything from mushrooms, to green peppers and onions. Each one was chopped quickly and easily. Blades snap out and are easily cleaned.

Very good choppers. I have had many over the years, this one seems to be good quality. My only complaint is that the top half is kind of hard to remove from the bottom half.

This was a gift that was welcomed by my elderly friend (who does not need to be using knives).
