Like most pkgd foods, the ultimate goodness of these cookies are not realized straight out of pkg. -- they very sweet n rather flavorless by my taste. But, when I microwave (1000 watts) approx 30 secs. n let cool completely (abt 5 mins), the full freshness n deliciousness is awakened n released. I was hoping for very rich strong taste of espresso n choc that is equivalent to that in Haagen Dazs Ice cream flavor Espresso Choc Cookie Crumble. I am attempting to duplicate that ice cream; hopefully these cookies will be close enough!

The texture is pretty good. It's soft and chewy, but the flavor is not how I expected it to be. There's more molasses and vanilla flavor in the cookie than there is ginger. The sweetness of the molasses and the strong vanilla flavors over power the ginger. I like my ginger molasses cookies to have a very strong ginger taste.

Absolutely delicious and chewy but expensive!

These cookies were not as I expected, very sweet, but you could barely tell that they were chocolate espresso flavored. There was a hint of chocolate, but not what I would call rich, and not good quality chocolate either. The sugar granules used to decorate the top ruined the texture for me, it made them crunchy. I'm sorry that I wasted my money on them, I was hoping that I had found something extra special to give away as Valentine's Day treats, but they weren't very special after all.
