Not a good product for nighttime use. Very bulky and odd for night use.
I ordered this for my right foot/leg, the buckles are hard to use when this boot is placed on your left leg. The buckles are on the outer side of the foot and with plantars fasciitis you know it hurts to move the foot around. I tried to find a way to move the buckles to the inner side of the foot but they are permanently fixed and can't be moved. It is also too big and bulky for me to wear at night. I'm back to the drawing board with hopes of finding something that works better for my plantars fasciitis. I can't say I recommend this product.

proportions for large feet don't work well.
Problems with adjusting straps and foot going numb at night. After cutting and sewing new velcro straps, was able to adjust the splint and it does a good job at helping, in that I can actually walk when I wake up in the morning. The bulkiness is a given, which you will get over. I would definitely recommend getting a splint, but a different brand if you have an out of the ordinary-sized foot.I ordered a large, for women's size 11+. I wear size 12-1/2 and have large calves. Whoever designed the adjustment straps was not thinking about the fact that people might need to adjust the straps beyond a skinny ankle or calf. The velcro gets stuck in the buckle making it very difficult to adjust, and when I do finally get it to the right length, there is not enough room left on the velcro to reach to the other attaching velcro. The same with the toe pad, the velcro is so small it can only adjust about 1/4 inch in either direction, which means if you pretty much can't adjust the toe pad. The hard plastic of the splint is also very narrow. I have a somewhat narrow foot anyway for my size shoe, and the inner foot bone rubs up against it. If my foot were any bigger it wouldn't fit. So basically what I'm saying is that they have not thought much about proportions with the large size splint. If you have a shoe size much above the minimum, you may run into difficulties. But for $24 what can you expect.
