More of an outdoor type hat. It is very soft, comfortable an stylish. Can be too heavy and warm for indoor use, at times. Has to be removed when experiencing chemo hot flashes, because it traps the heat on your head.

Fits a bit large,and hats often run small on me, so if your head is smaller you'll want to adjust somehow. But I love this thing. SOoo soft and warm and the color is rich and beautiful. Gave a couple as gifts too!A year later: I get so many compliments on my "cute toque"! And it's much warmer than I'd thought it would be because it's two layers of velvet. It's a great slouchy for bad hair days :)

I thought it was a hat but there was a hole in the top, more like a huge gaiter

The hat is quite beautiful but runs a little small, and causes static electricity in my hair. I found that very unfavorable. A similar hat coffee And another shade of brown was perfect and did not cause static electricity in the hair.
