Blake Printing Supply Toner Cartridge Compatible with Brother HL-3140CW, HL-3170CDW, MFC-9130CW Color Laser Toner Cartridge Ink Black High Capacity

I have bought this toner cartridge in the past and I didn't realize how good it was until I bought another brand last time. At the time I also needed the colored toners so I bought a package that had them all. I use the black toner the most and the other brand left lines down my paper and the quality of what printed was also not as good. I'm back to purchasing this brand of toner and the Brother printer recognizes it right away (no extra steps needed) and the quality of what was printed is back to great.

just put it in a week and it seems to work fine. the only suggestion i would make is to provide clearer instructions- they had pictures on the box but it took me a while to realize I had to insert the toner cartridge into a larger cartridge to insert into printer. I didn't have the manual in front of me to realize it was a two part insert! small issue and maybe not so for those who change cartridges more regularly. this is my first time using an OEM cartridge and am very happy with it.

For the price this toner cartridge is pretty good. It had a very rough start up though. I noticed the first 30 prints were really light even after shaking the toner, properly installing, and calibrating. I shook it again after seeing the initial light prints and then the toner printed way too dark for about 30 more pages. I cleaned the drum and corona wires, and finally it began printing normal. I have read other reviews that say something similar, but I have also seen that a lot of people have no issues with these cartridges. For the price, it is too good to pass up though so I will be ordering more when needed.

I bought and installed this recently. install was simple, and the product seems to be functioning perfectly. It was purchased from Blake Printing Supply. Shipping was prompt; the low price was the reason I chose this toner over any other. I have printed maybe 100 pages with this toner, with no problems yet. I am not sure what it would take to get a 5 star review, but 'i like it' seems to cover my feelings about the toner:good price, and it works as expected.

Very happy with this purchase *so far*. Our Brother HL-3170CDW printer took a few minutes to recognize it but once it did...worked great! As of right now I'm certainly planning on buy this brand again when I need more ink. We'll see how long it lasts or it issues arise after some use but right now....very happy!

So far so good! Easy install and all is printing clean. I really am impressed by the quick shipping! Arrived in one day even though I ordered as a Prime product. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I need to find out if the product will continue to perform as good as it has for the first week of use. I'll update if print quality declines.

WOW! I wasn't sure at first if this would be as good as the Brother one I replaced. So far so good! The printing is crisp and clear. I haven't printed much yet but as a teacher I print a lot of things so I have to reserve review for the high capacity compatibility for now. Thank you Blake Printing supply for a great product at a great price.

Printed approximately 1000 pages of reasonably dense text with this black cartridge. Overall the print quality was good with only a couple of lightly smudged looking lines near the top of the page, which could be due to our printing very near our printers maximum extents. We've used up the first one and have ordered a second.
