Durability outdoors, easy to roll around, allow containers to drain, attractive.
After Consulting with Russell, who is the customer service Guru there at Ashton Purdy, I decided on the dolly with the 3-inch Wheels. It has been perfect. It rolls in all directions and is very sturdy. I can't say enough about how helpful Russell was in making my decision. I plan on ordering at least two more in the near future and trashings the other "pretend to be sturdy" plant dollies which don't last a whole season outdoors. Thank you Russell!

It's got uses outside of the garden
I'm using this tough little dolly as part of the base for my porta-potty inside my RV. The locking wheels make it stay put inside the cabinet it lives in, and the smooth roll lets me move to a more seclude spot (away from the windows) when I need to use it. I know, TMI, but how else can I tell you this thing is versatile and holds a lot of weight? I would recommend it for use anywhere you need a low profile but solid set of wheels.

... product in a completely different way and it is awesome. We placed our office desktop copier/fax/printer on it
We used this product in a completely different way and it is awesome. We placed our office desktop copier/fax/printer on it. The device was too large to place on the counter top so I ordered the plant caddy and placed the device directly on it. Now we can store the device under the counter. It is very sturdy and easily accommodates the 3 in 1. It allows us to now roll it back and forth under the counter for accessibility when we need it and out of the way when we don't.Also two of the wheels lock so that it doesn't move when we don't want it to. Genius, right?

Pleasing Appearance and Not Subject to Rotting or Tipping
We tried one of these, loved it and have now bought several. We have for years bought those wooden things from the garden stores only to watch them rapidly rot and need replacing. Also the wheels on those broke soon after purchase or else no longer rolled. I have not had these long enough to be sure about the wheels, but so far they roll well. The pots that we have on the Blue Garden stands vary in size up to 18” in diameter at the top, quite heavy with dirt and tall plants. Nothing tips over. Very nice and worth the money.

Needs Better Quality Castors
The quality of the stand itself is excellent and looks to be built to last. The castors seem a little sketchy and maybe not the quality I thought they should be. For the price I paid I think the castors should have be a little sturdier rather than cheep Made in China junk. When the castors fail, the rest of the stand is useless.

Sturdy but wheels subject to rusting if left outdoors.
The stand is sturdy and will hold larger plants with ease. However, the metal wheels are the weak link of this product. They as so small they do not roll well on some surfaces, and if left outside on a porch for an extended amount of time will rust and become inoperable. Not recommended for outdoor use.

Solid Product but Small
This is a good product made of solid materials and great for plants. It has good wheels and easy to push around with a decent sized plant on top. My only complaint is it’s too small for large pots and so I only recommend it if you need something tiny.

Longevity--UPDATE
August 17, 2020 - These things are still going strong.!! I am going to purchase more*****I really like the look STILL GOING!! Buying 2 more 9-5-2021!!! The planter containers easily weigh 50 lbs or more!! Great item!!***UPDATE 6-6-2022**I have left them out all year, I live in Ga. they are still just ok, the casters do not roll like they used to, and a couple are caving in under the weight. I would still recommend, just pull them in, in the winter time. that's on me.
