Built well, but your dog has to tolerate being put in a box. You should get a leash that goes between the dog and the box to keep them in. They’re fairly heavy. I haven’t really had a chance to work with the dogs. But I will.

This was very easy to put together. I had nice straps to keep her safe. You could adjust them to her needs. She did sit in it at first and then we found that she would rather not be inside of it. Did have a second one that she just refused to sit in. I ended up taking them out of my car and just using a seatbelt strap for her harness for dogs. Gave the two that I had to my niece for her three little dogs and I hear they love them. They this was such a nice looking piece I hated to give it up but she wasn't going to use it. Quality was nice the price was nice and the shipping was great

It’s easy to install, durable, and is a safe way for me to drive with my corgi/chihuahua mix. I do have some small irritations with it, but overall is a good purchase. The first irritation is the strap that goes along the back of the seat loosens while driving. I will securely tighten it and it will slacked by the time we are home, the strap needs more texture to it because it is slick. Definitely not a deal breaker, but frustrating since I’m a mom and like car seats (lol) snug and tighten for max security. The next irritation is that the clip to go on a collar to assist that a puppy, or dog, doesn’t hop out is so large I can’t clip through the ring on her small collar. I have to actually clip in on her collar. BUT, there is a second irritation to this because the clip has a slight hook to it that catches on the collar, so I have to push the clip towards her neck and make a scoop motion to get it off. Now, that my puppy is trained to stay in the seat, I don’t use it at all because of this and she squirms nervously when I have to push it against her neck. Last irritation, but at the fault of my puppy, is that she chews on it to stay in it, even though I redirect her to chew on her toys, we always bring one. She has almost chewed of both safety straps (she only gets a few chews in before I redirect) and chews on the side closest to me. I got it because a lot of reviews said their pups instantly loved it and stayed in it. My pup hated it at first and took some training. Overall I gave it a 4 because it allows me to drive with her in her own seat and not in one of my arms but the strap and hook could be better quality. Pic is from the beginning of December.

Nice and tall. Many ways to secure your pet. The netting on the sides…so far so good-my little fur ball hasn’t chewed through it:) Easy to assemble!

I’m so happy I bought this for my 10lbs shih tzu! She fits perfectly in it and the quality is great for the price!It is easy to take apart and to install, it definitely helped with her being comfortable in the car… she hates car rides but with this one for the first time she actually tried sleeping and laying down

I bought this in hopes that it would help with my dog getting car sick. She weighs 3.7lbs. It’s very easy to install and that’s the biggest compliment I’ll give this product. Otherwise, this thing isn’t worth the space to advertise it on Amazon. I’m shocked it even has the rating it does and not negative all the way around.I installed this in my car after reading directions that didn’t come with it and let me say, after install, it all went down hill. The entire front of it collapses into the back and once you loosen the strap to bring it back again it’s so loose that it then falls to the seat. I put a box under it to hold it up. I put my dog in it and thought let me see how she does riding. She pushed the front down and was standing on top of the car seat! The sides collapsed and I thought what a waste of money. The metal bars that are supposed to support the sides are thinner than a colored pencil and the ends just pop off and they fall out. It has flimsy cushions all the way around and they just bulge out of the side. No support whatsoever.I stopped my car, took the seat out and almost left it on the side of the road. I didn’t and when I got home I got busy. I took a knife and cut slits on three sides and pulled the foam cushions out and used them to measure a 1/2 inch PVC pipe and put them through the slits. I took the so called support bars and placed them on the bottom and used a needle and thread to secure them into place to give the bottom a little support. After all of that the seat is now useable. Now I feel comfortable using it as a booster and letting it hang. My husband didn’t even think that would work because it’s so poorly made but it’s 100% better than it was the day I received it and I feel 100% safer knowing my dog will be safer in it and can see out the window and not be hanging with the halter strap securing her into a collapsed seat.Unless you want to do what I did, please do not waste your money on this product!

This is an excellent seat for my new puppy!! It’s sturdy and secure I don’t have to worry about her falling out and she can still look out the window!! Love it!
