Mower
The mower I purchased is a great mower! It cuts and works well! I had a problem with the battery that came with it. I contacted Senix and with just a few Emails they took care of it. Sent me a new battery and stronger one. Highly recommend this company and their yard products!

Very disappointed
Bought mower on 5/12/25. Delivered 5/14/25. Put it together, to find out I received a push not self propelled. Contacted Amazon to find out there is no return on third party. Contacted seller, would like to exchange mower for self propelled. Contacted Amazon & seller and still haven't heard from either of them. This very up setting to me. I have been a customer of Amazon for a long time. This is the first time have a complaint. I excepted the fact I made a mistake. So I went ahead used mower. I cut my grass twice. Now the mower does not work. Charger flashing charger defective. I tried battery in mower it will not start, blades will not engage. Now I'm out the money and a mower. No one will respond. All I would like is response so we can Talk about a return or refund. And if this does not happen I will be considering ending my account with Amazon. Hope someone reads this.

Well-made Beast
I was pleasantly surprised by this mower. It's designed very well. The placement and feel of the controls are logical and operate with a nice solid feel. It's handsome in appearance. It's heavy yet maneuvers well once you get it out of the box and rolling on it's wheels. The power to the blades is fantastic. My old mower stopped working so I hadn't mowed my yard in about 3-4 weeks. I was concerned that it was too high to cut. The reason I say this is that my old mower was a Ryobi battery-powered riding mower which would not fare well with this amount of grass. The mowing deck on my old machine would consistently bog or stall when trying to tackle tall grass and I would required several passes to cut. This Senix mower didn't "bat-an-eye". Power is definitely not lacking. On the downside, it was difficult to push through the tall grass but was doable. The battery life wasn't long enough to cut the entire yard but I think the excessively tall grass had an effect on the runtime as the motor had to work much harder. I live on a 1/3 acre lot and got through about 70% of the lawn before it stopped running. Another note worth mentioning is that I live in Florida and many lawns, including mine, consist of crab grass which is not a soft grass (and does not cut easily). However, I believe if the grass is cut every week or two, the battery would last longer. Because the battery was completely drained, this gave me the chance to use the charger which came with the mower. Although I didn't time it, I'd estimate that it charged from 0 to 100% in 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Given the size of the battery, I was expecting that it would take several hours to recharge. On a side note, I did investigate the cost of extra batteries and they are expensive - over half the price of entire mower listed here.Overall, I'm pleased with the mower and would buy it again.

Cuts Like a Champion!
I have only used this machine a few times but it cuts like a champion, the battery charges up quicker than I thought it would and seems to last long enough to cut the grass portions of my 1 acre lot. It had no problem busting through long wet grass (yes, I know, cutting wet grass is bad according to the internet) and the unit seems very well made and cleverly designed, and it is noticeably quieter than a gas model, it sounds a lot like a box fan when powered up and mowing. Unfortunately, I had to update my review because recently I put the battery in the mower after charging it and the mower blade would not spin even though the mower showed the battery having a full charge. I put the battery on the charger and got a blinking red light, which is bad and I have had to go back to my old gas mower, which I am glad I kept. I e-mailed Senix and haven't received a reply, my guess is that if I buy a new battery and charger it will work again but I hesitate to throw good money after bad, the company evidently doesn't stand behind its products. OK, I am changing my review yet again because I was able to connect with the company and they sent me a new charger and battery, which solved the problem. I used the mower today and was reminded how much better it is than my old gas Toro. I was reminded of how light it is and how easy to push and it has wide wheels which don't leave as many grooves in the grass as my old Toro. This is a smash hit at the current price and I sort of want to buy another but don't really need one, but will certainly look into other Senix tools that take the same battery. I am back in action and beyond happy!

Worked Great Until it Didn't
This lawn mower is, as my teenager described it, a "beast." Decent battery life, not terribly hard to push even when not in the turbo mode and cuts through even relatively tall "post-vacation" grass. However, after about 6 weeks the battery would not engage. We determined that it appears to be because the little lever that is designed to disengage it got stuck in the disengage mode. Of course, outside of the Amazon return window. Sent an email to Senix customer support and started getting marketing emails, but no response to my customer complaint after a week. Called Senix today. Got a very unhelpful kid who appeared to have very little customer support training. They want proof of purchase and a video of the problem. I guess we'll see. In the meantime, the grass has to be mowed so bought my second relatively expensive mower of the summer. This time I just went with a gas one though. Something this expensive should work for at least a few years.
