BeagleBone Black add-on to provide one RS-232 serial port. Quickly and cleanly add an RS-232 serial level converter to your BeagleBone Black with this "micro" cape. Fits completely inside the BeagleBone Black or Orange enclosure (sold separately), giving a sleek solution for BeagleBone serial port integration. Micro cape leaves all P8 and most of P9 I/O pins available for other applications. CBB-TTL-232 micro-cape is configured as a DTE (Device Terminal Equipment) similar to a standard PC. The DB9-male pin-2 is an input to the BeagleBone (RxD). The DB9-male pin-3 is an output (TxD).
