Shower Water Filter with Cyclone Filtration - Improve Your Hair and Skin - Remove Chlorine and Hard Water with any Shower Head

My hair has always been the bane of my existence (wouldn't go to class in college if I was having a bad hair day...). I noticed recently that it has not been turning out well no matter what I did to it - not washing for a few days, hair masks, more expensive shampoo/conditioner, etc. Then, I went out of town and had AMAZING hair. And came back to where I live and had terrible hair. Then went out of town AGAIN and had amazing hair. So before I pulled a Demi Moore and started washing my hair with bottled water, I decided to bite the bullet and buy this water filter.LET ME JUST SAY THAT MY HAIR IS AMAZING TODAY.IT WAS AMAZING YESTERDAY.IT WAS AMAZING THIS PAST WEEKEND.This water filter WORKS. Whatever harsh chemicals are in my water aren't in my hair or on my body anymore. I FINALLY HAVE GREAT HAIR (almost) EVERYDAY. And that's awesome, because I can't skip work like I used to skip class.As a side note, this has also helped clear up small patches of redness I've had on my skin for a while, so YAS.BUY THIS! It's cheap, easy to assemble, and honestly worth it even if you already have amazing hair and soft skin. At the very least, you know you're showering in brita-filter-level water.

The showerhead filter works really well, the water feels softer. I initially got it because my roommates hair and my own were getting dried out by our shower (old building) and we attached got this to see if it solves the issue. We've only used it a few times but it does seem to be helping! The installation was really easy (take off showerhead, twist on and then twist the showerhead back onto it).The filter must use charcoal because the first time you turn it on theres a lot of black residue in the water. The instructions it came with said to run hot water for about 5 minutes to clear it out, we let it run for ten and then when I took a shower a couple hours later had to let it run a couple more minutes before the water was clear, that happened the first couple times we used it, now (a week later) it doesn't have any residue.

I love this shower filter. Clear directions, literally took me 5 minutes to install, and for the first time in 20 years my shower is no longer orange from rust in my water, and I can actually drink my well water after it's gone through this filter - tastes sweet and fresh and doesn't small hard and mineralized any more, either. I wish sooooo much I found this years ago but well, I have it now and I am thrilled. Honestly I've been searching around for a simple solution to hard water forever. Hey and the best part is it comes with an extra filter so after 10,000 gallons, I can replace it. Now I call that a great deal. I'm thrilled. Thank you for making a good product at a fair price that does what it says it will do.

We do not have a water softener in this old house so when I found this I felt like it was worth a shot. We live in an area with very dry winters so I was willing to try anything for my itchy dry skin. This helped a ton! I no longer have flakey skin. I do not like how much clearence it takes from the shower head (about 6 inches) and when you run it the first couple of times the water comes out black at the beginning of the shower.

This worked very well, it was easy to install and had everything you needed. However, depending on your shower, you may or may not need a wrench. I have eczema and where I'm living right now, the water was drying out my skin like crazy. After a few days with this installation, my skin really started to show improvement which proves to show, the buildup in that comes through your shower can really affect your skin and general health. I highly recommend this and it's worth the price for something you'll use daily.

Edit: I loved this product, but I needed to change the filter after just a couple of weeks. I haven't used near 10,000 gallons in my house house, let alone my shower. I think I'll keep using it because it works so well, but I'm pretty disappointed.Ever since I moved the to city, the water was destroying my fine, long, curly hair. I used to be silky soft, but now it was dry and tangled on the ends and always looked gunky. It sometimes took me 20 minutes to brush! I was getting ready to cut it all off. After I installed this shower head extension, everything was better in one or two washes. People were asking me if I got a hair cut or using a different product. Buy it! This product is amazing. Easy to install, no issues so far (I've been using it for a few weeks now). Saved my hair!

This product is great. My wife read about shower filters online and suggested we try one out to ensure that our children are exposed to the cleanest water possible. The filter was easy to set up, did not change the water pressure on our shower head, and our skin actually feels softer than before. I took my first shower with the filter and the chlorine smell coming from the water is gone. Plumber tape was included and it was really easy to install. My fiancé gets hair treatments and told me that her hair felt much softer. Happy wife happy life! The filter may lower your shower head a little but I'm 6'1 and it's perfectly fine. Overall it's a high quality product and I'm happy with my purchase.

This reduced the smell of my iron water really well, but after just two weeks the smell started to creep up already and I'm the only one who lives here. However, still a big difference!
