We needed a turntable for cake decorating, but with this we got both the turntable and a great cake serving plate! I bought a 12" cake cover and we are all set!

This rotating cake stand is of excellent quality. It doesn't shake/shimmy as it's turned to ice cakes. It's far better than the plastic stand I've used for years. The offset spatula is a great addition. If you don't already own one, you'll need it to smooth your cakes' sides and tops. It's well-priced and I consider it a very good value.

This is a high quality item. And I don't say that often anymore. This is solid, it looks nice, it functions as it's supposed to, and the "bonus" items are great, too. The frosting knife is long and has a sturdy handle, and it does come with 3 plastic tools for smoothing and making patterns in frosting. It wasn't mentioned in the description, so I was surprised those were included. I would totally buy this again.

I love this turntable. It is so smooth and the perfect size. I wish it had a locking mechanism but I knew it didn't when I bought it. My only tiny complaint is that the mirror finish on the top gets smudged easy. But it wipes clean. I would buy again but this is really heavy duty. I can't imagine it not lasting for a very long time. The bonus spatula is really nice too.

This cake stand is solid and robust. However, please note that there's no lock on it to prevent it from turning. The offset spatula isn't the greatest, but that's not why we bought this. I'd suggest they dispense with this and design in a clever lock instead. Overall, a very nice cake stand for the money, and it's substantially made. We have a plastic one that has a lock, but it's quite flimsy by comparison to this beast.

I’ve been looking for a turntable with a cast base for stability but couldn’t find one. My daughter had one she loved but a friend put it away wet and it ruined it. I found this one and gave it to her for Christmas and she LOVES IT! She had been a professional baker in the past so she knows her stuff :) I’m so glam I found it for her.

This turntable is more than beautiful; it is light weight and yet not flimsy, having a solid feel to it. It will easily hold any size cake up to 18" whether it's one or two layers and still spin easily left or right. I have yet worked on a stacked cake using this turntable but feel that it's solid construction will handle the job.

Oh my. I've just started cake decorating again (after 42 years) and ordered the cake stand. It is absolutely wonderful. I bought a plastic stand and liked it until I received this one. What a difference. Spend the extra money and get this one or one like it. You won't be disappointed.
