great buy for a college/high school student
I'm rewriting this review. I ordered this item in January, and at first it worked great. As time went by, it began shutting down randomly and slowing down worse and worse. I found out when I took it into Fry's for a recommendation that it was actually a hardware issue. Of course, by the time I found out, "return/refund/warranty" from Amazon timed out. Now I'm stuck paying for a laptop that won't last a year. Despicable and annoying. I expected better from Amazon and HP both. Do not buy this product!

Why is this so slowwww
I swear to God this is almost the same speed as my husband laptop and it is like 3-5 years old. I like having touch screen options, but there is no reason for it to be this slow. And no, it isn't my internet.

Good overall value for price versus features and power. Speed difference from my old laptop not as much as expected when upgrading from Intel core i3 processor.

Do not buy
This computer is very slow. After two months of owning it takes fifteen minutes to boot up. This computer has been nothing but problems. We have contacted the support and had to haggle with them and prove we bought from Amazon. Do not waist one more second looking at this product. It's a waist of money! If I could give a lower star I would. I have a $89.00 google crome book that works circles around this computer.
