COBI 5525 Historical Collection Spitfire MK. IX Plane, Desert

I am a long time Lego fan and builder, so I was very apprehensive on Cobi, and waited a very long time before I purchased my first kit. With that being said I am sorry I waited so long. These kits are very well constructed, the directions are very straight forward, and the completed pieces are very well represented.Lego has always said they would never produce "weapons of war" kits, and that leaves a huge hole for us that like history. Cobi has definitely picked that up and have produced very well done kits for very inexpensive prices. I would dare to guess if Lego produced the same kit it would be at least three times more expensive than they are now. As more and more people discover Cobi I anticipate the resale value to continue to rise. These really are well put together pieces and well represent the item they are trying to portray.I would HIGHLY recommend this Cobi kit to any person who likes history and enjoys building Lego's.

This set was so fun to build! The attention to detail is amazing and the instructions are excellent!! Absolutely happy with this purchase and I know I’ll definitely buy from COBI again!

This was a Christmas gift for my 9 year old who’s recently become a WW2 buff. He loved it! I also felt the quality was very close to Legos. I know he’ll be asking for more in the future.

This is an awesome, good quality historical model. It is accurate and easy to build. I really enjoyed putting the model together. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

This was my first cobi set. Not disappointed. Stays together, looks realistic and is a good display piece or toy. Definitely recommend this.

Cobi has continued to impress me with there sets. I've collected Lego since I was a kid and was always what I bought my children, but Cobi was taken my collection and love for the brick to places Lego can't. My choice to like military sets thanks Cobi.

*UPDATE* I returned a previous box that had missing pieces and received a new one with no missing parts and fast shipping. Very happy with customer service!

This product looks like exactly like the real thing

Plane arrived brand new in box. My Son loves this brand of plane, this is his 9th plane from this series. These planes are little harder to assemble than Lego and instructions are not quite as intuitive. Overall, definitely worth the money.

Excelente producto pero un poco caro

A lovely product from Cobi. Builds well, pieces/bricks fit tight and secure.There are challenges. Steps 32 and 35. Both these steps have two very small, black round cylinder pieces. They are to be fitted in the corner underneath other pieces. I tried using a tweezer, but eventually succeeded using my fingers. Refer to photographs to see steps 32 and 35. Very challenging!In conclusion, end product looks stunning, stand is firm, fits well. Value for money.

Très agréable à faire, très beau rendu, conforme à mes attentes. Un peu juste pour les enfants de 6 ans.

Avión con detalles muy buenos tal como siempre realiza COBI y por supuesto ha cumplido todas las expectativas . Trae una especie de pedestal para que el avión quede perfectamente anclado.
