Very happy. Ordered others and they were so small. These are actually 100% true to size as the pictures show. They are heavy! But it's because they are so large. They are varying shades which I guess is to be expected. they are exactly what we need for the project we are doing. Be careful, though. They put a staple right on the slider part of the zip lock closure of the bag it comes in and I sliced my finger very bad sliding it across to close it. Didn't realize the staple was there :( otherwise a good product. Hopefully they stop putting that staple there!

I was looking for pretty flat large stone to put in my 20g long axolotl tank. After reading through and scouring pics on stones, I decided on these that marketed a range of color. I did a vinegar test on them- which all seemed to pass. I also did a Nitrate #1 API test kit bottle test on them- AND 8/10 passed! The colors were really nice and they seemed free of defects. The minimum W was 2.5" (which had the max L) and max L was 4.5". I'm happy with my purchase and put them in the aquarium (pic is of the 8 in a final water soak). I'm sad the last two are duds (they BARELY bubbled in the tests) and unsure what to do with them- maybe what they are designed for- paint them someday.

Overall the rocks are smooth and a good size for painting. The last order was a let down as the rocks were mostly oblong and not much good for scenery paintings or any of the normal things I like to paint. But again, they're overall a good quality, shipped in a timely manner etc.. I'll probably buy more down the line.

Perfect for the craft ideas I had!!!

I bought these twice, the first ones were great, large, flat, smooth rocks, great value for money. The second ones I had ONE large rock, the rest were gradually smaller and smaller in size, and some were very oddly shaped. Very disapointing.

Perfect size and shape. The largest are 5"x3.25" and 4.25"x4". The smallest are around 3.5"x2.5". They are a nice flat shape for painting. Rock colors are varied for those who like to keep the natural rock background.

I was very pleased to open this shipment of rocks because I’ve purchased so many on line and been disappointed most of the time. These rocks are flat and smooth, as described. The sizes are a variety with a few extra large and a few large/medium, all well within the dimensions described in the listing. I’d love to go out and collect my own but an injury prevents me from doing so right now. I purchased these because of the quick delivery and being happy with them I’m now going to order another batch!
