I didnt read these reviews ....or the label🤦‍♀️🫣 and it did in fact clog my chlorinator super fast.....once problem resolved and I moved them to a floater everything has been great. I love that they are cya free and it's solving 2 issues as my calcium hardness levels were low anyway. I've been using 2 (3inch) tablets /week to maintain correct chlorine levels with testing. This method is currently more affordable than the liquid chlorine I typically use. Very happy with product for now.

So my inground pool had high CYA levels and wss clouding my water. CYA can only be reduced by diluting the pool water. I am pumped out a third and refilled with city water, still had high CYA levels.Local pool place recommended these tabs which do not have CYA (some CYA is needed though to act as sunscreen to keep the chlorine from burning off due to sunligt.Thesw tabs cannot go in a Chlorinator, use them per the instructions in tje skimmer basket.I use Regular tabs in their Chlorinator, but if the CYA starts creeping up, I remove them, and put one or two of these new tabs, into the skimmer to add Chlorine without rasing CYA.Your results my vary based on temperature, rain, and other environmental or methods you use to balance chemicals.

Using Leslies's TriChlor tablets results in excess CYA accumulation. I imagine if I lived in the North and dropped the pool level in winter I might be OK, but in the South I let my pool run all winter and so don't get a good flush out of CYA.These CYA free Calcium hypochlorite tablets work well in floating dispensers to maintain normal chlorine levels and seem to last a good long time. This has been a useful addition to my pool maintenance.

These do the job! Dissolve cleanly and keep pool clear and algae-free. I add one tab per week in a 13,000 gal pool. Love these tabs!!

I fired our pool service companies because we always had green pools. I taught myself pool chemistry and the cya is at the max acceptable range. There’s not a lot of choices for un stabilized chorine so I have been using this. It’s not as effective as stabilized Chorine but it does the job although i do have to shock a bit more often. Thankfully I read enough to NOT put these in the chlorinator. I have purchased these for several months for our high use pool and they work.

My pool is usually too high in Cyanuric Acid due to the standard stabilized 3” tablets. These Poolife tablets are not stabilized. I had read that they would plug up a Hayward feeder, so put them in a floating chlorine dispenser instead. They plug that too. My CA level is down a bit, but my hardness seems to be too high now. Tablet related? I don’t know, but Not planning on buying a second bucket of these.

Been happy with these so far. From what I read, I figured they would dissolve quickly, but IMO they last just as long as the stabilized tablets I've used. Switched to these this year because my stabilizer is at the high limit and did want to drain 1/2 my pool. Plus I won't have to add borax this year since these have a high PH. Haven't had to add acid yet either. Pools been holding steady right around 7.5-7.6 which is where it seems to do the best at. Double win for me! Will definitely buy more if I need it.
