Wysong Fundamentals Canine/Feline Formula Dry Dog/Cat Food, 5 lb

We bought the dog and cat food mix a few years ago due to the ingredient list. To avoid diarrhea or any other reactions that were in the reviews, we introduced our five outdoor cats and house dog to this new food slowly over a couple months with zero issues. It’s great knowing that our furry friends are off their old brand that has all the nutrients cooked away to hold a long shelf life. We also noticed that our cats and dog eat less than they did prior to switching them to Wysong and they all seem to have a lot more energy. If you’re looking for a meat-forward, probiotic-enriched dry food with solid clinical endorsements this is it! You will not regret taking care of your best friend with this high quality product. Wysong dog/cat food looks like regular dog food and my animals love the tasty small bite size piece. I would highly recommend this brand of food to anyone with dog and cats.

This is a great brand of pet food. My cats do amazing on it. Ingredients are very simple and easy to read and pronounce. Doesn't have that stale smell most pet foods have. Perfect size bag and kibble. Great for all ages and health.

I have 2 dogs & 2 cats, it’s impossible to keep them out of each others food unless I'm standing there watching them eat. I also had an automatic dry food feeder for the cats before I got the dogs, that I still wanted to use. This food was the perfect solution! I was so excited to find a food that was appropriate for both cats & dogs, I didn’t know it was even possible, but it’s amazing!!! I’m also very picky about ingredients being of good quality & this checked all the boxes. I can use the automatic feeder again & they can all share. I’m so grateful for this product & would highly recommend to anyone with both dogs & cats! I have been using it for about a year now & haven’t had any health issues for anyone. I also feed them species specific wet food, this is their dry snack in between wet meals. I will say, just a warning, I tried another similar dry food product from this company & no one would eat it. This particular one (Fundamentals) is a winner tho!

Wysong is the best pet food available. However, the "Free" Amazon shipping has raised the price through the roof. I have to start cutting back drastically on the Wysongvfor cats and dogs, and mix it with other premium brands that I can get in the pet food specialty stores.

Just read a post from a vet who pleaded with cat owners to eliminate corn and corn products from their cat's diets and opt for a grain-free alternative. Purina makes one but I found this first and it's kept my cat from frequent hurling. Point is: this is good stuff and recommended by those who know what they're talking about.

Amazing that both cats and my dog love this

I started buying this because I have 3 cats and 1 dog and couldn’t keep each from eating the other’s food. It’s just ridiculously expensive. I realized my chihuahua could eat dry cat food and switched over to buying a bag of cat food that was 3x as big for the same price

we have 6 rescue pets (4 cats, 2 dogs) & aside from wanting to end the daily strategic maneuvers to prevent the dogs from eating their own meals & then moving on to the cats food, two of our cats have food sensitivities/digestive issues. they were on royal canin special 33 (vet suggestion) & doing well but then that company changed 33's ingredients & tried to pawn it off as just a new packaging change ( total bs - i took pics of ingredients lists as i always do when comparing/researching food for our 4 legged tribe. so i have pics of 33's ingredients before/after product change). both our cats started throwing up w the new 33 which is why i had to find them a new food. fortunately i found wysong during my research - solving the issue of our poor cats throwing up after every meal & the problem w the dogs eating the cats food since they can -& do- all eat wysong fundamentals now. i was also looking for a fish free dry food, with no fillers or crappy ingredients (the bulk of 33 is corn meal, btw...wtf..). wysong fundamentals is an outstanding, nutritionally sound, highly palatable (both dogs & cats) food source i'm very happy to have found & highly recommend.
