Tastes good for a survival ration good packable size
This bar tastes fairly sweet with a hint of vanilla flavor, it is very mild, unoffensive and not thirst provoking. Its biggest advantage is its form factor, at around 6 inches in length, 2 inches in width and 1 inch in height it is compact enough that I could fit two of them inside a small aluminum mess tin along with some additional rations and survival supplies for making fire, holding and purifying water, cutting small bits of wood and signaling. The result is an extremely small form factor survival kit that can easily be held in a cargo pocket, or how I plan to use it, placed in the side pocket of a paramotor. Overall I'm very pleased and would recommend these for anyone who needs a ration bar where size is a serious concern.

this is a emergency food ration what else do you want to know
product taste is decent and packaging is awesome. Do you self a favor get a ton of them. I love the idea of 1 day rations instead of 3 day packets because if you need them and open one it could get stale having a open package for 2/3 days after you open it. I wish mainstay could sell these in bulk boxes for storm/emergency preppers.
