I have purchased several stamped kits for the first time recently. I have been doing counted cross stich for years but my eyes are starting to go so I thought I would try this. I love the patterns but there are no instructions for backstitching, which is almost necessary in some cases. The directions just say to refer ro the picture, which is smaller than a quarter. Why are they not shown on the included reference paper? It feels like the work is not done and frankly, if I were that artsy, I wouldn't need these kits in the first place.

I'm going to wait until I have it completely finished before I upload a picture of the results, but I wanted to go ahead and leave a review since it's been a few weeks.I've considered myself a beginner at cross-stitching, and I'd like to say that anyone else who is learning can do this one as well. It's more intimidating than it looks. It's the best cross-stitch that I've worked on so far, and I love everything about it. The details, thread colors, and layout is great. I'll say that it can be very distracting from anything else if you really get into it. It would be nice if it was a bit of a smaller size. But if you're willing to put in the time and the work, it's definitely worth it.

I chose this item as I loved the colors, and with the cross stitches nearly complete it has a nice look and feel. However, the contrasts between the print and the thread color are not as contrasting as they need to be. Some of the print it is hard to distinguish the light print colors (light pink vs light blue) without a bright light. The paper guide for the pattern was really useful in confirming the proper color when the print on the canvas was uncertain. There are no outline stitches on the paper print in order to really make the design stand out.

Its great quality and a fun design. The template is easy to follow. They are fairly stingy with the thread so you have to be very aware of any wasted because you will use it all on some colors.

Paper patter a little blurred and small to read easy. Some colors on the canvas itself blend together blue dots and green mostly

Although I haven't worked on this project yet, I do enjoy stamped cross stitch. The design and colors are what I expected, so I'm sure it will turn out beautifully.
