The design of these socks does not consider that a diabetic person usually has a larger diameter ankle and calf diameter requirement than a normal person. These socks have the same opening as a normal sock and while they are a little more loose at the opening they are still constrictive. (The Size 13+ seems to have the same opening size as the Size 10 to 12 ). A diabetic person should try these on to confirm they are not constrictive for them. If they are, they should be returned, given to a non-diabetic person or a charity.

Did not shrink when washed. Very stretchy without being loose and falling down. Elastic band is wide and does not roll down. Best socks I've ever bought for hubby. So much so that I bought another set!
